My Review Of Paul Cerame Ford:

I have been a Ford man all my life and I was ready to get a new F-150. I knew what I wanted and knew what I wanted to pay. I was able to locate one in my hometown of Kansas City but they were either unable or unwilling to work towards my price. I began the hunt again. I located the same model in St. Louis and made a call. My call was answered by Chris and I could tell he cared about helping me get not only the best price but the best service. We spoke back and forth a few times and he promptly returned calls and provided any info I needed. Next step was making the drive to pick her up. Let me tell you that Chris was the ultimate professional and had everything ready and waiting for me upon my arrival. I think this was the easiest truck I ever bought!! I have recommended Chris to all of my family and friends. Explaining that his service is well worth the drive!

My Review Of Paul Cerame Ford:

I went to four Ford dealerships two on the Missouri and two on the Illinois side for pricing on the Ford C-Max Hybrid. Overall I did not feel that it was a very good experience. All four dealerships were interested in my money, and bids were very similar, but I was frustrated with the salesman with the other three dealerships. I sent a number of emails to the other three dealerships asking very simple questions about options and bottom line costs such as taxes, title and licensing. I either did not get a reply, it took three days or longer, or in they would only answer about options, but ignored the request for a bottom line cost with taxes and licensing. I understand that this was not a $50,000 - $60,000 car sale, but found it very strange that a salesman would totally ignore my questions?

Chris Stallman of Paul Cerame Ford was by far the exception. He was courteous, responsive, thourough and didn't act like I was taking up his time. I made my choice to go with Cerame Ford because I felt Chris cared and wanted my business. He made my wife and me feel like we were important to him and Cerame and I have no reason to feel that he will change just because the deal has been settled.

My Review Of Paul Cerame Ford:

Chris Stallman contacted us via E-mail within a few minutes of our initial inquiry. He found the exact car we were interested in (color/model/etc) and sent us a copy of the window sticker for our review. Then later that evening he answered our questions about the cost and trade-in. He was at home on his own time and we were elated with his quick response. We had contacted four other dealers that day via the internet but none of them came close to helping us as much as Chris did. The whole process was the most enjoyable of all our prior car purchases. I will contact Chris the next time anyone in our family or our friends are looking for a new or used car.

My Review Of Paul Cerame Ford:

In short, this was the best experience I have ever had buying a car. I will never go anywhere else for a Ford. A longer version is below for any who care to read it.

We had not purchased a car in nine years, and we were apprehensive and dreading the game playing and price dickering we thought we would experience. We visited this dealership on a Saturday morning and drove a Taurus and a Fusion before we had to leave to get our daughter somewhere. I couldn't believe how low pressure our salesman, Chris Stallman, was. He let us drive both cars by ourselves (not sitting in the car with us and telling us where to turn like we experienced at two other dealerships), and then didn't even take down our names or numbers when we left. I had to ask him for his card and what days he was working the following week. He even suggested a lower priced car that would fulfill our needs after actually listening to what our needs were, instead of trying to sell us the most expensive thing he could.

After an irritating waste of 2 1/2 hours at Dave Sinclair Ford later that day (since we thought we had to go more than one place to compare), we decided that we wanted the Taurus SEL that we had driven that morning at Paul Cerame. We returned Monday afternoon, hoping to get the price we had decided was acceptable to us. Even though Chris had been wonderful, we were nervous about the classic back and forth between us and the manager for what we would actually pay for the car. We really needed a car because my husband's truck had been towed to our house and we only had one operating vehicle. At Sinclair Ford, we had been offered $29,000+, then $28,000+. We really wanted to pay $27,000 even (after rebates and coming down some from sticker price) after we did some internet research on Sunday.

We walked in at 4:15 Monday afternoon, went straight into Chris's office and told him we wanted the car, then waited literally 5 minutes for him to return with the offer of $27,214! This was $2,000+ less than the first offer we got at Sinclair! We thought we might as well go for it, and told him that we really wanted to get it for $27,000 even. He said he would go check with the manager, and returned again in 5 minutes with an ok. The paperwork with Bob Tierney took minimal time as well. While Bob was drawing up the paperwork, Chris was setting up our account for the My Ford Touch. I was out of there in less than 1 1/2 hours. My husband stayed while Chris went over EVERYTHING about the car for over an hour.

This was the most pleasant car buying experience imaginable. There is nothing they could have done better. I highly recommend Chris Stallman as the most laid back, low pressure salesman I have ever dealt with.

P.S. During the 2 1/2 wasted hours at DAVE SINCLAIR Ford mentioned earlier, we were:
1) shown a Taurus SEL without leather seats (which we clearly stated we wanted)
2) shown a Taurus Limited (we wanted an SEL) without a moonroof (also clearly stated as a feature we wanted)
3) waited forever while they found two cars we wanted at other dealerships
4) presented with a price that took $836 off of sticker price, but added back on $725 for Resistol coating and pin striping, neither of which we had asked for
5) presented with a second price which was still $1,000+ more than Cerame's price
6) asked what they could do to get us to buy the car right then after being told that we didn't want to buy that day

I had the best experience purchasing my new Ford with Chris Stallman at Paul Cerame. I could not ask for a more helpful sales associate than I had with Chris, he made my buying experience the best. The purchase transaction was one of the best around. I felt I was treated both fair and honest. I would recommend not only Chris to family and friends but Paul Cerame. Dealing with Chris speaks volumes of the professionalism that Paul Cerame provides as a dealership.

My Review Of Paul Cerame Ford:

Love this place!! Chris is one of the most honest salespeople I have dealt with and it shows. I have purchased a 2012 and a 2013 Fusion in the past few months from him! I have always been a Ford person and this dealership will get as much business as I can send them. The Sales Manager Emile went out of his way to make sure I was happy and the Finance Manager Bob answered all of my questions. Believe me, I had a lot the 1st go round! It all started with Chris and the way he worked with me, he was very patient and helped me find the perfect car. This dealership really cares about the customer and it shows, even in the service department. No need to shop anywhere else!

My Review Of Paul Cerame Ford:

What a great buying experience (again!). Besides a great price, these guys are very easy to work with, professional and I highly recommend them! This was the 3rd new vehicle we have purchased from Cerame (two trucks and one car). We now live a little over 100 miles from Cerame but after the deal on a new Fusion fell through with a local dealer I called Cerame on Thursday afternoon; they bettered the price, got the exact Fusion we were interested in, picked it up the next afternoon with all the paper work ready and waiting for us. As I said, easy to do business with and another great buying experience.

My Review Of Paul Cerame Ford:

Chris went above and beyond helping me decide between two cars. He sat down with me and explained everything to me completely. He went thru the whole operating system of everything in the vehicle, I wasn't used to that (my mind started to drift a few times ... lol.), all of the other dealerships that I have worked with were like, you have a new car yeah ... enjoy, bye. I knew from the beginning that Chris wasnt like that. I could call Chris three times about the same thing and never give me a attitude or anything. He would be so happy and chipper to answer it. More dealerships should have a guy like Chris on their team - but I am sure after he was made they broke the mold. You never get a second chance to make a first impression and Chris doesnt need a second chance. My advice to you would be, you might want to keep this one around for as long as you can.
