My Review of Kia Country of Charleston:
Courtney was very pleasant & friendly to work with. After I sent an email at 10 PM on Sunday she responsed with an email on Monday morning followed by a phone call. At which time she had located the Sorento EX I was interested in. After a few questions for me she returned her phone call in a matter of minutes with a price quote. I had to drive about 150 miles to the dealership & she held the car for me. At which time she had Sam go over the car with me to explain all the functions. I was please to be able to drive my new Sorento EX home that night which saved me another 150 mile trip. Jeremy was also very friendly to work with. My overall expereince was excellent.

My Review of Kia Country of Charleston:
I contacted Courtney Lydecker online. She was amazing to work with me for weeks while I was trying to get time to come down from Columbia to purchase my SECOND Kia Sedona EX Van from Kia of Charleston. The dealer in Columbia can no way compete in friendliness nor genuine interest in the customer. My first van had right at 100,000 miles on it. My husband and I finally got down to Charleston about 4:30PM today and met Courtney first, then she turned us over to Jeff Litowitz. We knew exactly what we wanted, an updated version of our 2006 Sedona. We also wanted a beautiful RED (Valentine's was next day). We made the deal while they were getting the new van ready to go with us. Jeff told us there was a lot of difference in the 2006 and the 2012. BOY, was he right. The new one really has a lot of power! There were some changes that I was not pleased with (pull out tray that would hold 2 LARGE cups had been replaced with a small pull-out drawer, the tray with 4 cup holders had been minimized by not allowing the tray to be expanded, and one of the two "glove compartments" had been deleted). I can live with those things, though I already miss them. They seem so picky once I wrote about it! Great experience again with Kia Country of Charleston.

My Review of Kia Country of Charleston:
During my recent search for a Kia Optima, I contacted Kia Country of Charleston using Truecar.com. Almost immediately, Courtney Lydecker sent me an email discussing price and inventory - very polite, friendly, and straight-forward. That evening I visited the dealership and Courtney transferred me to Sam Washington. I can't say enough good things about Sam - very unassuming and friendly; the kind of guy you feel like you've known for a while. While I HATE the car buying process, Sam made it one of my best experiences. The bottom line is that both sides of the deal (salesman/buyer) want to walk away satisfied and feel like they were not taken advantage of. I believe Sam and Kia Country epitomize this behavior. Without hesitation I would tell anyone to visit Kia Country of Charleston. Hopefully I will not be purchasing another vehicle any time soon, but when I do, if it's a Kia, I won't look anywhere else.

My experience began via an internet quote through our USAA insurance company - Courtney had responded. She followed through with emails and we talked via phone. There were some miscommunications in regard to the vehicle I wanted to trade, however, when we arrived at the dealership, we were able to work out a deal with Courtney, Elijah and Daniel. We had the experience to test drive and work with Elijah during the selling process and Daniel and Jeremy in regard to the finacing details. We look forward to our relationship with the dealership.

Kia Country of Charleston offered the USAA Buying Service as well as an immediately positive first impression upon meeting Ms. Lydecker and Mr. Washington. Their responses to our questions were accurate and without pretense. We were never in doubt as to where we were in the process and the staff person associated with the paperwork was positive, helpful and efficient. The entire purchasing process was smooth and efficient because Kia Country of Charleston sales personnel knew what they were doing.

I found a great deal from Autotrader and it led me to Courtney. I asked Courtney several questions about the car price and sometimes could not respond to her email promptly. However she was absolutely fabulous and I could tell that she was one of those people who literally smile to you over the phone. She was very consistent from day 1. Well, I did find another vehicle closer to where I lived, but I was ready to drive to Charleston because she offered me a very competitive pricing. I would definitely consider my future purchase with Courtney and the dealer because of their good honest nature. Thank you Courtney for your honest good customer service. My Review of Kia Country of Charleston:
This is the second vehicle that my wife and I have purchased from Kia Country and after an experience at their local competitor, we will never purchase another Kia from anyone else. Our repeat experience was met with a greeting by phone Courtney Lydecker and then followed up Elijah Tucker. Daniel, the sales manager worked hard to be in our budget and did so. We would highly recommend this dealer to anyone. They keep things simple and low pressure which is what anyone should want when they purchase a car.
