My wife and I bought a Certified Preowned Civic from Honda of Lisle. We test drove the car and asked many questions about the condition of the car. We asked if the car had been damaged or had any bodywo Honda of Lisle. We test drove the car and asked many questions about the condition of the car. We asked if the car had been damaged or had any bodywork done. Debora and Javier said “no” and gave us a copy of a clean CarFax report. We bought the car based on those statements and documentation that Honda of Lisle provided. We recently traded in the Civic on a new car. It was at this point we were presented with a CarFax report that showed the car had body damage to the rear quarter panel. This damage happened nine months into the lease with the first “owner”. The car had body work done at Lisle Auto Plaza Body Werks. This shop is somehow connected/affiliated with Honda of Lise. The car was repaired at this body shop 17 months before it came off lease. That is plenty of time for the data to be updated in CarFax. We lost money on our trade in because Honda of Lisle did not disclose the body work when we asked direct questions about condition and body work. Honda of Lisle presented a clean CarFax report when it should have showed the car was damaged and repaired. We will never purchase another car from Honda of Lisle. We will be sure to tell everyone we know about the experience that we had at this dealership. You decide if what Honda of Lisle did was honest and ethical. More

Anthony was a pleasure to work with at Honda of Lisle. Our only complaint was that the dealership now includes a 'mandatory' $1495 option package (elsewhere listed as 'available' but not mandatory) on ev Our only complaint was that the dealership now includes a 'mandatory' $1495 option package (elsewhere listed as 'available' but not mandatory) on every used car, but did not disclose that in the online pricing. Note that this package was not mandatory when we purchased our last used Honda at this dealership in August 2021. But, Anthony was able to get management to waive this unwanted fee. Without this mandatory undesired package fee issue, I would have given Honda of Lisle a 5-star rating. More
