I have been in the Automotive Industry for most of my life. I started working at a tire store as a teenager and advanced into a mechanic for a GM dealership for 6 years. I worked for a Worldwide company that dealt with multiple auto manufacturers from the manufacturing stage to the distribution stage of the automobile.
I joined Star Buick GMC 12 Years ago and enjoy working with the public and stride to make every customer visit to Star enjoyable.
I have been happily married for 25 years and enjoy fishing, skiing and golf.

My Review Of Star Car Buick GMC Easton:

It is always a pleasure to work with Doug Roat when we are having our LaCrosse serviced by Star Buick. Doug always reviews the work that was completed and the reason for performing the work. If a shuttle ride or loaner car is necessary, he always makes sure it is available for us. Since 1999 I have always made it a point to contact Doug when we need one of our vehicles serviced.
Recently Doug and Mark Porcaro teamed together to solve a steering issue that was very difficult to diagnosis. Everything went very smoothly.My wife Monica, daughter Tiffany and myself have purchased or leased numerous vehicles from Star over the years. We have always been completely satisfied with the vehicles, deals (Pricing) and service.
As a matter of fact, in 1976, I purchased our first Pontiac Grand Prix from Clete Landis and Rich Young when they worked at Ranken pontiac in Easton, PA.

My Review Of Star Car Buick GMC Easton:

We dropped our vehicle off a day early but late in the day and unannounced, While we could see that service was closing. We were greeted by a gentleman who was friendly, he directed us where to leave our vehicle and helped with the night drop.

We were dropping off our new vehicle to have the Inspection sticker updated to match our Registration. It was done promptly and they picked up my wife from work to retrieve the vehicle.(which I really appreciated!).

Good job!

oil change tire rotation Price is alittle high also if they would honor competitors coupons like there website says it would make things alot easier Had coupon for lesser amount for oil change etc checked with service manager to make sure it was ok to use no problem got to service and all doug roat did was pick every coupon i had apart should have told him i already spoke to mark parcario about this and he said no problem my fault for not saying anything In the future service advisors should not pick coupons apart website says u honor ALL competitors coupons You should start doing that!!!!

My Review Of Star Car Buick GMC Easton:

Dealing with Pat Gruhler was a pleasure. In context, my car was towed to Star/Easton's repair shop, and the word from the shop was not encouraging. Doug Roat was honest with me about the necessary repairs and the fact that he was uncertain how the car would respond after the repairs. Doug has been my service advisor for several years, and I have learned Doug is a man of his word. It appeared that another car was on my horizon. I had been given a GMC Terrain as a loaner, and I contacted internet sales about a deal on the Terrain. John Hershey (who had contacted me a few weeks before about trading in) stepped in and set up a time for me to come in and discuss any deal. Pat met my wife and me before we got to the showroom door. Pat spent the time working out an acceptable deal--not for the Terrain (which I really didn't need), but for a Buick Verano, which Pat suggested as a car that would meet the needs we discussed. So, the deal was made. I recommend Pat, Doug, and John at Star/Easton. Through these folks, the dealership will keep my automotive repair, service, and purchase business.

I've been a customer at Star for over 16 years and I can honestly say they have been there for me. Our service advisor Doug has always made sure we are taken care of and delivers the best care for us and our vehicles. Mark, always there to make sure we are happy and well taken care of also. Thanks to individuals such as Doug and Mark is probably one of the reasons why we keep coming back. When friends or family asks us where we take our vehicles for service we happily say Star. In the recent years we have even introduced my in-laws to Star. And they also have become happy and satisfied customers with Star. Thank you for all the years of great service.

My Review Of Star Car Buick GMC Easton:

Went for re-issuing of inspection stickers. After realizing my insurance cards were not correct, Doug went above and beyond to assist me in getting the corrected paperwork from the insurance company, even as much as offering me his computer to contact State Farm as my agent was not available at the time. He assisted me in logging on to State Farm and retrieving the info that I needed. By him doing this it saved me a trip back to the dealership at a later time. It was obvious that the mistake made by the clerk at State Farm was an error, he could have just told me to come back at a later time, but instead he took the extra steps to help a very frustrated and upset customer work thru the problem and I left with my vehicle having the corrected info that was needed. I would highly recommend Star. Mark Porcarro and his team always seem to go above and beyond......
