Halie Lyons at Portland Volvo

We dealt with Halie Lyons on our first trip to Portland Volvo. Halie was more than efficiently knowledgeable about the vehicles she promotes. She had patience with my wife and I explaining how everything works when you step foot into the dealership. Halie communicated almost
daily with us, as our buying experience continued throughout our Florida vacation.

Jason was our business manager and helped us close the deal on our 2010 V50 Wagon. He also was very knowlegeable and friendly. We
could have wrapped everything up in 30 mins but we sat and continued talking with Jason socially because he was just fun to be around.
Two hours later(haha) we were driving home with our new car from Portland Volvo!

This car buying experience far-exceeded any that we have ever had in the past 22 years and we look forward to continuing our service re-
lationship with Halie, Jason and the gang at Portland Volvo.

I called the dealership passing through on my way home to Boston. There was a used car I was interested in test driving. When I called to make sure the car was still in stock, Halie was great and told me she was looking at the car right outside. I had gone to another dealer before and was told the vehicle was there, which turned out to be incorrect and a waste of my time. However.... it turned out the Volvo was an automatic and the Website was wrong in that it stated the car as being a standard! Halie quickly set up a test drive on a new C30 standard. Halie has since followed up with me. I have bought many new automobiles, and had had my share of good and bad experiences. Halie was very knowledgeable, accommodating, and she is definitely a cut above. Should I decide to purchase new, I will go back and work with her.

Very good experience buying a new car. My last experience 6 years ago I remember being haggled down for hours to get what what I wanted for price. Halie spoke with us and then after speaking with the manager one time only he came over and spoke with us no hassles or "twilight zone like" time delays. Everyone is genuinely friendly and you could tell they liked being there. At other places while shopping around I could feel and observe the tenseness. This place is the right choice.

I was a tad disappointed in the trade in value assessed to the Honda Accord, but realize it has some age. The price on the Volvo was very fair as well as the trade in value on the Saab.

Concerning Halie: she was excellent. Her manner is friendly and professional. She is clearly "the new kid on the block"; and when she did not know the answer to a question she deferred to someone who could provide the correct answer. The entire staff willing helped with the sale. That gave my husband and me confidence that we were in good hands.

The vehicle itself is marvelous. I have begun to learn the Navigator; parallel parked it and have put it in the garage. Having said that (an expression I feel is overused these days) it is much bigger than I realized. I hope I get used to the BIG factor.
