I never needed to own a car until recently, so I went to check out the lot at Bill Kolb Jr. Subaru with some dread, expecting an unscrupulous sales rep to exploit my inexperience and confusion and pressure me into buying something needlessly expensive. I'm happy to report that there were no such hijinks here; they addressed my questions and concerns patiently (perhaps even indulgently) and let me pull the trigger in my own time. Further, their financing was competitive with my credit union's offer, so I was able to test-drive and buy a totally sweet (but needs-appropriate) Impreza, register it, coordinate insurance coverage and drive home with real license plates in just a couple hours. Through it all, Howard Bonfield was professional, capable and crisply efficient.
I read a lot and put in a great deal of legwork with my credit union, insurance, etc before I committed to buying a car, but all the hand-wringing was completely unnecessary - indeed, all my preparations only slowed me down, in the end. You and your sales rep can accomplish everything needed to drive away in The Right Car with minimal fuss and for a competitive price at Bill Kolb Jr. They have a massive selection of cars accommodating any budget and need. Overall, I'm very happy with the experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to direct a prospective Subaru owner to this dealership.

Great experience, I saw the 2012 Honda Civic coupe on line for sale at Bill Kolb Jr. Subaru, I live over two hours away from the dealership and hesitated at first about making the trip. Boy I'm glad I went, met with Howard Bonfield from sales, very direct and no games with him, that's what I like. I've been to enough car dealerships over the years where the salesman go back and forth with their manager to haggle on prices which to me wastes everyone's time. None of that at Bill Kolb Jr Subaru. Howard was direct and to the point which is why the deal was closed so fast. Also the staff would walk by while I was waiting for finance to prepare the paper work and would ask me if there was anything I needed. Once again I would like to say I had a great car buying experience at Bill Kolb Jr Subaru.

He explained to me that all the sales reps are salaried and they have a no "haggle" policy. And Paul from finance got everything done ASAP with the loan and offered a great extra coverage warranty for the car that I felt was a good extra insurance policy.
