I contacted Courtney Lydecker online. She was amazing to work with me for weeks while I was trying to get time to come down from Columbia to purchase my SECOND Kia Sedona EX Van from Kia of Charleston. The dealer in Columbia can no way compete in friendliness nor genuine interest in the customer. My first van had right at 100,000 miles on it. My husband and I finally got down to Charleston about 4:30PM today and met Courtney first, then she turned us over to Jeff Litowitz. We knew exactly what we wanted, an updated version of our 2006 Sedona. We also wanted a beautiful RED (Valentine's was next day). We made the deal while they were getting the new van ready to go with us. Jeff told us there was a lot of difference in the 2006 and the 2012. BOY, was he right. The new one really has a lot of power! There were some changes that I was not pleased with (pull out tray that would hold 2 LARGE cups had been replaced with a small pull-out drawer, the tray with 4 cup holders had been minimized by not allowing the tray to be expanded, and one of the two "glove compartments" had been deleted). I can live with those things, though I already miss them. They seem so picky once I wrote about it! Great experience again with Kia Country of Charleston.

Good dealership, with knowledge sales persons. Would have preferred a quicker process, but overall process was good experience. When looking into advertised deal, make sure someone you are working with writes down deal and you receive a copy, as when we spoke with the financial manager, he was not clear on how we would get our rebate check, and either was our salesperson, so we did not leave until we had our agreement in writing. Overall, good experience and car is wonderful. Would recommend a Kia Sorento to anyone.

I could not have asked for a better experience than the one I received at Kia Country. Within the last 2 years I purchased ( jointly for 2 of my children) 2 cars from a dealer in Mt. Pleasant not far from my home. The first purchase was awesome the second has been a nightmare. That is the reason I went else where to purchase another car for myself. I have read and heard nothing but top notch reviews on Kia brand cars and am spreading the word. I purchased a new SOUL and love it....Jeff told me hamsters not included.....darn! Kia Country is the best and the customer service was over and beyond my expectations. Thank you and good luck as I am sure you will become one of the most popular dealers soon.

I would recommend this dealership to anyone. When I went there I knew I wanted a Sorento but I did not know which model I wanted. I was given all of the details of every Sorento model. They had plenty of test cars in the front of the lot when I made up my mind which model I wanted. However, I wanted to test drive the model with a different color interior to get the full effect. My salesman went to the back of the lot and went through all of the models there to find the exact car that I wanted even when the same model was up front for test driving but with the interior that I did not want. WHAT A GUY!!!!!!!!! He did everything to make my experience in purchasing my car a happy one. I love my new Sorento!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They also gave me the price I was willing to pay.

My Review of Kia Country of Charleston:
My husband and I did our research online and in person before deciding to purchase a 2011 Kia Optima EX. This would be the first new car for us in about 8 years and we wanted to get it right ~ and within our budget! The basic Kia was outfitted with most of what we required and was within the price point we had chosen. Because this was a special purchase that we hoped to enjoy for many years to come, we wanted a color that we could live with, as well as a great, quiet-riding, fuel-efficient mid-size car. All of our research online was showing a limited number of Optimas in the Satin Metal and/or Bright Silver finish.
We drove to one Kia dealership and felt we were 'on our own' with little option on availability of any, except, two models (both were simply not 'us'). It was mentioned that they could try to find something elsewhere. Hmm!?
So, we went home and placed a call to Kia Country of Charleston; immediately the situation sounded brighter! We set up an appointment with Courtney to come in the next day. When we arrived, we were met by Courtney who introduced us to Jeff Litowitz. After listening to our wants and needs and hearing about the disappointment we had encountered in not being able to find a color we really wanted, Jeff walked us over to the most beautiful Kia Optima EX, loaded with not only our needs ~ but also our WANTS!! Although we'd originally set out to buy a brand new Kia Optima, this little beauty had only 5900 miles, after a 4-month lease, and it was loaded with features that would allow my hubby and I to enjoy our day-to-day travels, as well as make those long drives to visit Larry's mother in Houston an extreme pleasure!! The price was right and after we perused several websites to compare book values, re-sale values, etc., we made our decision to buy "Stardust" (our personal name for that Kia with her leather heated and cooled seats and her panoramic roof glass!). We were preapproved for a "new" car loan with a low interest rate and since we changed our minds and bought a very gently used car, Jeff and Brian (Finance Mgr)helped gather the details for new financing arrangements with a good interest rate that met with our approval. Things went smoothly and quickly. Jeff and everyone at Kia Country were so accommodating. What could have been a stressful situation (decisions, decisions, oh, MY!) was actually easy and a complete PLEASURE, leaving Larry and me two very happy buyers!!

I needed a car to transport my elderly parents around in. What I owned had no ac and a sometimesy transmission. Met Jeff, gave him my requirements for a vehicle and limitations as to budget. He showed me three different vehicles. Allowed me to take the 99 marquis to test drive. It was just what I needed and with Jeff's help we found financing and he had me in it by the next day!
