After college, Jerry joined Duke, and its been a perfect partnership ever since! Jerry holds top honors from Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and especially Cadillac.

When not here at Duke, he enjoys relaxing and spending time with his friends and traveling. Jerry is a classic car nut, and loves any classic Cadillac, especially ones with fins!

Jerry is single and lives in Suffolk, Va with his two cats, Scoot and P.C.!

My Review Of Duke Automotive :

Jerry has been selling cars to my family for years. He gave my son (4th generation of Duke Auto owners) great advice and was willing to work with us all day. When my son was hesitating on which car to buy, Jerry asked him some more questions and then found him a car that Matt hadn't even considered. It was a great experience all around.

This review site, however SUCKS! Too many things are required. I really didn't want to create an account and it keeps asking me what brand I purchased even though I have filled it in.

My Review Of Duke Automotive :

This car buying experience was unlike any other I have experienced in my lifetime. Due to my circumstances at home, Lydia had everything brought to me at my home. I told her I was interested in the Lacrosse and the Enclave. First, she sent Bruce Blythe with a Buick Lacrosse for me to test drive and he appraised the vehicles I was trading in. A few days later, Lydia brought a Buick Enclave for me to try. I decided the Enclave better suited my needs to transport my husband who is handicapped. Then she had Jerry Butler contact me to work out all the particulars as to colors and options. He listened intently as I expressed what my needs were and what I wanted in a vehicle. In no time he had located the exact vehicle I requested. I ordinarily would have wanted to negotiate on the price, but I felt he offered such a fair price it didn't seem necessary. He had it cleaned up and delivered it to my house on a Saturday morning. He completed all the paperwork, had my tags transferred and my insurance taken care of. He went over all the particulars of the vehicle, set up my OnStar, and paired my cell phone. I am very happy that I chose such a nice "family" with my decision. Everything about this experience was positive and I am very happy with my new Enclave and my new friends at Duke Automotive I would definitely recommend them to all my friends and family.

My Review Of Duke Automotive :

I came in for a State Inspection. I made appointment on line. They were ready for me at 7:30 AM. I also had a question about a function on my DTS they they took care of my issue. Mrs. Duke the owner came in the waiting room to say hi to the customers and thank us for our business. How many times does that happen anywhere else. I live in Virginia Beach and Duke is worth the drive for sales and Service. I highly recommend them.

My Review Of Duke Automotive :

Jerry Butler was extremely helpful and on the ball. We told him what we were interesed in as a used car, and called within 48 hours to say he thought we had what we were looking for, and he was right. He offered to bring the car to us to look at and test drive. We decided to come to the dealership, but the offer was sincere and king. He was helpful while showing the vehicle, and we were back withing 24 hours to buy it. Jerry took cared of all the administrative paperwork in short order, and I drove the car away in about 30 minutes. Everything about the experience was positive.
Duke Automotive was recommed to us by one of Jerry's previous clients, and we would be happy to recommend your dealership (and Jerry) as well.
As an aside, I enjoyed meeting and chatting with Lydia Duke

My Review Of Duke Automotive :

I only purchase a new vehicle about every 10 years. This was BY FAR, the BEST EXPERIENCE I have ever had at a Chevrolet Dealership. This is the most expensive vehicle I have ever purchased, and the level and quality of service was outstanding.

Thanks to the whole Duke Team for making this purchase a breeze.

Jerry was so helpful and friendly--he made us feel right at home and worked with us to find exactly the right car and price we could afford. He did his best to make us feel like we were dealing with a friend. Everyone we met at this dealership was courteous and friendly, going well above the norm to make sure we had everything we needed. I believe they care about their customers and that it wasn't all about selling a car for them--they wanted us to walk away happy and definitely went the extra mile to make that happen. We love our new car and will be sure to go back to Duke when it's time to purchase our next vehicle! Thanks!

My Review Of Duke Automotive :

My husband and I started looking for a newer model Buick Enclave in early December to replace our 2009 model. We visited two local dealerships and both seemed to be pushing the sale of the 2012 inventory and suggested leasing as a possibility. Because none of the vehicles we previewed came close to the comforts to which we had become accustomed as far as the available premium features, we chose to hold on to our 2009 Buick Enclave. Now, we are very familiar with the adage “save the best for last”, but we never expected the service we received from the moment we arrived at Duke Automotive in Suffolk, VA! Upon our arrival we were greeted by a cheerful and welcoming Duke Automotive “family” and then introduced to our sales consultant, Jerry Butler. Jerry listened intently as we explained what we were looking for and then escorted us to a side carport area where he had an Enclave on display with a personalized welcome sign hanging from the rear view mirror --- what a pleasant and unexpected surprise! When we began discussing the possibility of a lease, Jerry immediately informed us that the available leasing option would be on 2013 Enclaves and there was one on the way. While we were in Jerry’s office discussing the particulars, we had the pleasure of meeting Lydia Duke, Eley Duke III and Don Kelly who all humbly expressed their appreciation for our business. Our very first visit to Duke Automotive was unlike any other car-buying experience; it was like visiting family we had not seen in a while and catching up on all that we’d missed. The day we picked up our new 2013 Buick Enclave the entire process was streamlined; Jerry methodically handled each step up until the moment we drove away. My husband and I are very happy that we “saved the best for last” and we are looking forward to a longstanding relationship with our new family at Duke Automotive in Suffolk, VA.

First off I want to say WOW!!! If you look for a family oriented dealer that pays attention to what the customer wants then you should go see the friendly staff of Duke Automotive in Suffolk, VA. From the moment we started corresponding via email with Christy Brinkley we fell in love with this dealer. Christy answered every question we had and was very prompt when responding to emails. She is awesome. There wasn't a dealer within 500 miles that could beat the customer service or price Duke quoted us on our new 2013 ATS. Richard Strong, Bruce Blythe, Jerry Butler, and Eley Duke were very easy to work with and they made the ordering, sales, updates, and delivery of our vehicle a breeze. We highly recommend Duke to anyone looking for a new vehicle. They actually made the car buying experience FUN!!! We already have plans to get a new vehicle and we will definitely buy from them again.
