Jerry Chervany at Toyota of Boardman

My husband and I went to Toyota to look at the Venza, basically just to say we had checked out everything before we purchased a Subaru Outback. We weren't expecting to like the Toyota Venza, but when John Sallmen showed us the Venza and took us for a test drive, we loved the car! We had worked with Jerry Chervany previously as well, when we had come in a week before to look at the Highlander (which we liked, but it was too big for our family at this point). Both John and Jerry were very helpful without being overbearing or pushy. Everyone that we encountered at Preston Toyota was very helpful, friendly and professional (everyone at all the Preston dealerships we visited were very kind and helpful for that matter). John was able to get us everything we wanted in a car, all within our budget, which we appreciate. Also, we came in not too long before closing one night, and John was gracious enough to stay past closing to help us, and then come in on his day off the next day when we came back to get the Venza. Eric Sanata helped us with all the financing paperwork, and he was very good at explaining the complicated paperwork simply. Overally, we had a very positive experience at Toyota of Boardman, and we anticipate being return customers the next time we're looking for a new car.

The service was friendly and informational. There was no pressure in buying a car. There was plenty of time to make a decision we weren't rushed into any deal. We were given a fair trade in on our car.

This is our second Toyota (Sienna) that we've purchased from Toyota of Boardman. We live out of state (in PA) and find it worth the drive to work with such a great dealership. Jerry Chervany came highly recommended, from a family member, and we could not be more pleased with his service and dedication. Jerry went above and beyond to work with us on our trade and purchase of a new Sienna XLE. He was incredibly easy to reach and presented all options to us. Josh Bakuhn, sales manager, took the extra steps to ensure that we were satisfied and followed up our visit with a phone call. He recognized our loyalty to Toyota of Boardman and negotiated a very fair price. We wouldn’t consider buying a Toyota from another dealership!

I found a recent trade in at cars.com and contacted the dealership. I let them know that I wanted to see/test drive the car and they informed me they just received it on trade in and it had not been detailed or gone through the service dept. When I expressed interest in viewing the car on the weekend they made sure the outside of the vehicle was detailed and had the car waiting for me by the entrance to the showroom for inspection and a comprehensive test drive. I was to meet with Bobby Preston who was very friendly and introduced me to our salesman Jerry Chervany. Jerry rode along for the comprehensive test drive and answered all of our questions to our satisfaction. I live approximately an hour drive from this dealership and only traveled this distance because of the interest in the '99 Rav 4. I will say I was very impressed with the dealership and all of the staff members that I encountered. After the test drive and agreed upon price, they let me know that they still wanted their service department to check the vehicle bumper to bumper to ensure there were no major problems. Kudos, I had agreed to purchase the vehicle and they still wanted to make sure that it was in good working order! I will definately not think twice about recommending this dealership to anyone and will look to them in the future for purchases. I was extremely satisfied with the salesman Jerry Chervany. I am of the baby boomer era and it was refreshing not to have to deal with a high pressure sales pitch. Hats off to you Toyota of Boardman and Jerry Chervany you definately earned yourself a new customer!!

I came in to look at a new Toyota Prius, but wasn't sure if I wanted a new or used one. Jerry was very patient and helpful in making the decision. He went above and beyond to help me get the exact car I wanted. Overall I had a great experience with Toyota of Boardman and Jerry. I will definitely recommend this dealership to friends and family, and will return in the future.
