The dealership had a variety of vehicles and vehicle choices to choose from at competative to best in area prices. Jerry holmes was a pleasure to work with, being patient and informative. Would recommend dealership and salesperson highly.

My Review of Honda of Tenafly:
Jerry Holmes is an excellent sales consultant. He really knows his stuff and he very much likes people. This really shows. He is friendly, patient and anxious to explain things to you. I first met Jerry five years ago when I bought a 2007 CR-V. When it was time to get a new 2012 vehicle, I wouldn't consider going to anyone but him.

My Review of Honda of Tenafly:
Jerry and Kristen were both extremely friendly, welcoming, and expertly knowledgeable. Buying a car can be a nerve-wracking experience, but this recent experience, and also my purchase experience 5 years ago, were real pleasures. I was also very pleased with the price. I appreciated the honesty with which Jerry and Kristen, and all others I dealt with at Honda of Tenafly, conducted themselves. Also, the efficiency and relative quickness of the process were outstanding.

My Review of Honda of Tenafly:
Just took delivery of my used Honda Pilot today. I couldn't be happier with the transaction or the car! Jerry was very extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He knew evry function and componet of the car like the back of his hand. He eliminated all of the stress and uncertainty that usually comes with buying a vehicle. I would recommend Jerry and Honda of Tenefly to anyone!

My wife and I walked into D&C Honda after an internet inquiry on a Honda Pilot EX , and met with Jerry. He was very gracious and knowledgable of the vehicle, especially the electronics. We took it for a test drive, discussed the bells and whistles. We have a large family and needed a safe reliable vehicle and felt the Pilot could solve our needs. We negotiated a fair price and drove away with it a couple days later. I highly recommend visiting Jerry.

My Review of Honda of Tenafly:
At the moment I walked into this dealership I felt that it was the one I wanted to deal with. From the receptionist to the salesman to the service director all made my wife and I feel comfortable. The entire process was seamless. One of the owners came down to meet us which I thought was a great thing. It is a family owned dealership which made us feel right at home.

I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to be treated with the utmost of professionalism and friendliness.

My Review of Honda of Tenafly:
In search for my Honda Pilot I visited D&C Honda and was appointed Jerry Holmes as my Salesman. Prior to visiting the dealership I read some bad reviews but I figure I take a chance to see if it's true or not. I can tell you that it's not true because I can't see how someone had a bad experience with D&C because mine was exceptional! Jerry was so detailed in explaining the features of the car that no other dealer even mentioned to me so it made me wonder if the other dealers I visited really knew their car. After the test drive felt no pressure or obligation that I had to buy the car. I've felt very pressured at other dealers where they would tell me I would never find a deal like this and I am going to miss out and blah blah blah. It's a very uncomfortable feeling to have when your shopping to spend over $25k. I know all reviews are biased but my feeling after being at this dealership I feel everyone can have the same great experience I did. Keep in mind I live in Long Island and traveled to NJ to purchase this car. If I had to do this all over again and found a similar vehicle in LI I still would choose D&C as my dealership.

My review After 1 month of ownership: It's Spring now and we all know the weather can be tricky where it's still cool but we still can get those hot days even though its not summer. The first hot day of this year was so hot that I had to use my A/C. As I turned it on I felt the cool air coming out but noticing it wasn't getting cooler. I was shocked to find how weak it was and figured there had to be something wrong. First thing Monday morning I contacted a local dealer in LI and dropped it off for service. I received a call back from the servicing dealership. I was extremely disturbed to hear that there was a pin size puncture on the condensor. The service manager than told me that I would cost me a little over $700 to replace it which also includes labor. I figured this would be covered under warranty but he explained it wouldn't be. I could not believe within the first 30 days of owning this car that I am experiencing this. I asked them to hold off on fixing it that I needed to contact D&C Honda. I know it was certified but I wondered if something like this was maybe missed or maybe did it really happen to be punctured by a rock in the first month me driving (not even 500 miles were put on) it. So I called and asked to speak to Jerry Holmes but he happened to be off that day so i asked if there was a manager I could speak to and that's when I was introduced to Donald Dwan.

I explained what happened as calm as I can be but keep in mind how frustrated I was to be going through this. Donald's was very surprised that this happened and explained how each vehicle inspected to become certified. I was like oh no here we go again, he's going to tell me that I have no choice but to pay to get it fixed. He asked me to bring it in to D&C and that they would take a look at it to make the determination on how it happened or if it was missed. The problem is that I live in LI and traveling to NJ was not something I wanted to do since the LI dealership was going to make me pay for the evaluation they did on the car. Donald responded by saying that he was going to call me back and look into this further but he assured me that he was going to take care of this. He called me back with a resolution and was shocked on what he had to say! He said lets not have you bring it to us but lets have the LI servicing dealership fix it and they will pick up the bill. I couldn't believe that he was offering this. I didn't have to yell, all I did was speak to him calmly and explained what happened and he listened. He did explain how the condensor can get punctured on new/used cars and how it's covered but he was surprised on how soon it happened and felt that I shouldn't be going through this. I still can't believe how I was hearing this. He truly made me happy on how understanding he was. The best experience I ever been through! I don't think any other dealership would have done this. In the end I had a great sales experience and also a service experience that was handled in a professional manner.

When the time comes to buy another Honda there is no question on which dealership I will be visiting.

My Review of Honda of Tenafly:
It took me a while to get to wright this review. I've purchased my Accord from D&C last year after being to just about every dealership in Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, and a couple of places in NJ. At DC I didn't get any break on a price (paid what was advertised) but the car was immediately available, tuned properly and it didn't take forever to arrange the paperwork. For me, a friendly, honest (as in "Dude, we are not giving you a discount but you'll get your money worth with this car" which, BTW, I did) atmosphere were well worth a couple of hundred extra bucks. I even got a ride to the bank :-). Jerry, thanks again, man!

My Review of Honda of Tenafly:
I would like to say, THANK YOU to D&C Honda for making my car buying experience a wonderful experience. Jerry Holmes, the gentleman that sold me my car is a wonderful man.

When test driving a few of the cars, Jerry, was very knowledgeable of the car and explained to me about them and answered all my questions and then some. He went above and beyond.

While test driving, I mentioned that I wanted an automatic starter in my next car and that I would have one installed if the one I was going to buy didn’t have one. Out of the 3 cars I looked at and not knowing that the car I was looking at, had one already installed, he surprised me by starting the car when I was getting ready to drive off the lot. The fact that he didn’t want me to make my decision based on the automatic start shows that he cares about how you make your decision to buy what. There was no pressure to buy one over the other. No pressure at all.

It was truly a pleasant, no pressure buy for me! My mother was with me at the time of the purchase and was impressed by the overall service and she is now talking about buying a new car and will be coming to D&C Honda.
