John McGahan at Bertera Subaru Outlet of West Springfield

I went to Bertera Subaru for a car a Hyundia Elantra, that I had found online. It was the first car that I have ever bought for myself, and It was a very good experience. John had approached me and my father, and was extremely helpful. He was very friendly, gave me his full attention, and answered every question that I had. When it came down to buying the car he was very negotiable. I had gotton the car in my price range. They also took care of my plates, inspection, and everything else that needed to be done. When it came to picking up the car, it was Johns day off and he came in. He made sure everything was met to my standards. A day after He gave me a phone call to make sure everything was okay, a week after, six months after and even a year after. I had one issue with my car alarm, I called John and he got in that week. I could tell he took his job very seriously, and he cared about his customers. For my next car I will go to him in a heart beat. I will recommend him to anyone.

Our salesperson, John, was very patient in bringing us through the process of buying a new car. He returned calls in a timely way and answered our questions. He was able to see us on our schedule. He was very knowledgable about the car we purchased. Nuno was friendly and efficient on the day we picked up our car. He answered questions and moved the process along. He too was very knowledgable.

Overall my experience was pleasant. I enjoyed working with John McGahan, he was attentive without being pushy and he was accomodating to my schedule. I am pleased with our purchase. Subarau makes a nice vehicle.

I am happy that Subaru was willing to meet a more competitive finacing rate but I wish that it hadn't been necessary to go that extra step in order to learn of their willingness to do so.

The closing went smoothly despite a $100 differential in the final numbers. It was small money in relation to the overall deal and we agreed upon a 50/50 split but no one wants to deal with that just before signing.

The car was delivered in beautiful condition and time wwas taken to explain all its features. I had mentioned that I wanted crossbars and that I would pay for them separately. That got lost in the transaction so will need to make another trip to the dealiership to make payment for those and have them installed. Not a big deal as John was heading out on vacation and was trying to get the car to us before he did so.

John was very responsive and answered all my questions. He called several times to check in. He was prepared each time I came into the dealership, which included 2 test drives to be sure I loved the car. He was very knowledgable about the car I purchased.

We received a friendly welcome from John. He went out of his way to locate an impress outfitted the way we wanted it. The dealership delivered the car to our at the time promised for no additional charge. John explained all the costs in a forthright and they were just as promised. Not only would I buy another car from John at Bertera but did just that, returning for a second Impreza less than three weeks later. From Dylantalks

Over all, it was a great experience. John and Tom (finance) were very willing to listen and accommodate to my questions and requests.

John is very responsive to e-mails and phone calls, and was very helpful making sure my insurance company set everything correctly before handing the car off to me.

It was a very nice treat to have the car dropped off to my work, since I live and work about 50 miles from the dealership.

Tom also, had looked into all our requests and was willing to support a change in the financial plan even after the paper work was signed.

I didn't feel trapped or forced into a deal I wasn't happy with.

I went in for a new car on the Costco Auto program. There were a number of different vehicles I was considering. The information I recieved was good & propmpt and aided me in my decision. I actually purchased a CPO vehicle from Jophn instead of the new one I initially was pursuing.
