No hassle Castle! John Porter is a fantastic sales rep. Absolutely zero pressure. He tossed me the keys to the car and told me too let him know when I was ready to take John Porter is a fantastic sales rep. Absolutely zero pressure. He tossed me the keys to the car and told me too let him know when I was ready to take it for a test drive. No one hovered over me which was refreshing. Castle also let me take the vehicle over night as my wife wanted to see it before I purchased it. Due work obligations I couldn't make it out the next day to close the deal. The manager was kind enough to let me hang on to the car one more evening before I could come out to close the deal. I arrived to complete the sale and was in and out in 45 minutes. Since I wasn't trading a car in their porters were able to deliver my car the same night. Fantastic transaction from start to finish. I highly recommend Castle and will purchase from them again! More

Highly Unsatisfied with Customer Service I am highly unsatisfied with their customer service skills. I was told I would receive free oil changes for the life of my car when I bought it in Dec I am highly unsatisfied with their customer service skills. I was told I would receive free oil changes for the life of my car when I bought it in December of 2017. It’s funny how all of a sudden in January of 2018, they “changed things”and now I have to pay $30. If you change things, that should NOT be my problem. I do NOT care if you change things. If I was told I would receive free oil changes for the life of my car, I should be grandfathered into this guarantee. I have worked in customer service for years, the customer is always right. This is absolute horrible customer service and I would not recommend Castle Chevy to anyone and I will NEVER buy a car from you again. The saddest part about this is you guys do not care how upset you make customers. Customer service should be your #1 priority! Btw this is not directed towards the person who sold the car, John Porter. He was great! This is directed towards the managers and service team or whoever came up with this change. More

Nobody enjoys the car-buying process! Sales rep and porters were wonderful! Managers involved in negotiating the price are not transparent and have little integrity. I have yet to find a Sales rep and porters were wonderful! Managers involved in negotiating the price are not transparent and have little integrity. I have yet to find anyone who enjoys buying a car. All seem to agree the process is exhausting and frustrating. My experience was typical. John Porter, the salesman who worked with me, was pleasant, helpful, and respectful. Those involved in negotiating the price (which I believe are the managers) are unfriendly, uncooperative, and not transparent; however, this is consistent with all dealerships. It's the nature of the beast. Specifically at Castle Villa Park, I called ahead of time and told "Joey" the stock numbers I wanted to test drive. Joey mentioned one car was not available--that it was either in service or being washed. Of course it was the least expensive of the cars I wanted to test drive. Since it would be at least 30 minutes until my arrival, I asked that it be located. When I arrived, two "managers" were at the desk, neither admitting to being "Joey" when I asked about the car that was in service or being washed. One man (still not sure if he was Joey or not) indicated that car was sold two days prior. Strange that the story changed on that car's status since inventory and sales are all tracked in their system. Anyway, I was shocked to find only one of the cars I requested to test drive was ready. Although it was a new car with no mileage, it was scratched. They offered to buff it, perhaps assuming I was an idiot (since I'm a female) and would accept such an offer. The other vehicle I wanted to test drive was not ready. A porter had to be located who would remove the snow, wash the vehicle and fill it up with gas. It was a LONG wait, but turned out to be the car I purchased. The "managers" tried to sneak in an extra $299 fee during the negotiating process, but I appreciate that they were quick to remove it without a fight. The porters delivered my car to my home 20 miles away within just a few hours, and I'm grateful it arrived timely and in good condition. Although the process is frustrating and exhausting at all dealerships, I found it more tolerable at Castle Chevrolet, and I greatly appreciate that! Our next car purchase is less than a year away, and we expect to go to Castle Chevrolet again. More

Amazing Experience We ended up having to find a new vehicle when our current one got too high on miles and were very apprehensive going into the process because the expe We ended up having to find a new vehicle when our current one got too high on miles and were very apprehensive going into the process because the experience of buying our last vehicle which was our first ever car purchase was a multi-day nightmare full of rude forceful salesman and tension. After a day of looking around we stumbled upon Castle and it already sounded too good to be true price-wise but we made the drive and took a chance anyway. Within moments of walking in the door we felt comfortable and appreciated. Our salesman was John Porter and he was terrific the whole time and even helped us get a monthly payment that worked for us. Our experience with him alone will have us returning for our next vehicle but everyone we worked with there was very friendly and made the process smooth. We were there for a total of 4-5 hours and it didn't even feel like it because not once did anything feel awkward or stressful like the last dealership we dealt with! We are in love with our brand new car and truly grateful for how perfect choosing this dealership ended up being for us. More
