The team at Walker's Renton Subaru were the best we have worked with in the Seattle area. From the moment we walked in the door the entire staff was focused on making sure you found you were looking for at the best terms. We love our new Legacy and are looking forward to our next Subaru purchase. We will definitely seek Joy Pothan's help again when we are ready to purchase.

My Review of Walker's Renton Subaru:
I did not feel very happy after signing the last paperwork. The service contract (sales) portion to me was unpleasant. I can't say I was pressured "to buy" any service contract, but, upon reflection there was misleading statements made to me that indirectly pressured me into buying a contract/service I did not really need.

In other words, I do not trust anyone in the service contract sales portion of this dealership. Everyone else was at the very least accomodating and helpful at this dealership.

My Review of Walker's Renton Subaru:
I had been thinking about either buying a Honda or a Subaru. I looked at Honda first and then came to Walkers in Renton. Immediately I felt welcomed at Walkers. Joy put me in exactly the vehicle I was looking for, one that was comparable to my previous vehicle. We were only able to meet a certain payment, and she worked with us until that payment was met. The experience was the best I have ever had a car dealership. Thank you so much Joy!!!

Joy Pothan was reliable, understanding, well-informed, and a pleasure to work with. She adapted very well to my style of decision making and cooperated with me to make my decision about a purchase one that I was happy with. She is to be trusted and appreciated. I should add that this was not an impulse buy, and that working with me would probably strain the patience of most. Joy came through in the way that an understanding and patient friend would. I will be sure to seek her out for my next purchase

My Review of Walker's Renton Subaru:
Walker’s Renton Subaru is a great dealership with an easy to work with staff. Joy helped us find a car that met all our wishes (and more) and it was very easy to come to an agreement on a fair deal. I think we got a great car for an extremely reasonable price and we were able to get it done in 2 short visits: one to test drive and one to buy. At Walker’s we got a test drive, learned about the car and then left them to find the best match for what we wanted in a car at a price point we could afford. The next day we walked in, picked out the exact one we wanted, ironed out the final price, signed the papers and drove home.
Other dealerships in the area we visited passed us from salesman to sales manager and back, left us waiting in offices while they added unwanted features to the bill and then took them off again so they looked like they were giving us a deal of some sort, and basically tried to keep us in the dealership all day so we’d finally give in to buying a car. One dealership never bothered to ask what features we actually wanted in a car, but called us three times in 24 hours to remind us that there were only 3 left of the model we test drove left on their lot and that we should take their offer fast.
At Walker’s I didn’t feel like they were playing any sort games to get a few extra dollars out of me. It’s nice to be able to enjoy spending money on a car-- instead of a week of haggling over nickel and dime adjustments to the sales price. In the end I feel that I got a great deal that was easy to agree upon, a great car that exceeds my expectations on all levels, and that they will likely get my business again. Overall, an excellent experience.

OUR SALES REP, JOY POTHAN, WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, THOROUGH, AND A PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH. I FIND THE CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE IN GENERAL A VERY ARDUOUS PROCESS AND UNTIL IT CAN BE STREAMLINED I WOULD NEVER CHARACTERIZE IT AS "GREAT". THIS IS THE THIRD VEHICLE I'VE PURCHASED FROM WALKER AND I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS.
