My Review of DARCARS Toyota of Frederick:
I went to this dealership because I was in the area to meet a friend from Pennsylvania for lunch (I live in Bethesda, and Frederick is halfway between our homes), my 2007 Camry's warning lights had come on (to check the VSC), and they were closest to where I had parked for lunch. They were unknown to me: I had not used their service department previously, nor had I opportunity to research their customer ratings. Both men were helpful, courteous, and fully explained the process and diagnosis. Kenny gave me a time estimate for how long it would take to diagnose the specific problem, and it was accurate. When the diagnosis was complete, Kenny brought me to Jason, who explained the reason for the repair and why the manifolds must also be replaced on my 2007 Camry (6 cyl.) The estimate was $1,800. Kenny had been pro-active on my behalf to see if Jason might be able to offer assistance on the repair bill. (I'm on a fixed income due to disability.) Jason was also quick to perceive my situation, and wanted to help. He had encountered similar situations within his family, and my car's warranty had only recently expired. I'm so grateful that Kenny and Jason were willing and able to offer assistance with the bill. I'm looking forward to returning next week, after the ordered parts arrive, to have the repair completed, and am confident that the work will be done accurately and on time.
