My Review Of Walker's Renton Subaru:

Overall, I had a good experience at Walker's Subaru/Mazda. Tahir Faizoullin took care of my purchase and made sure everything went as I wanted it. We had a misunderstanding on the reported mileage of the vehicle. It was not the same as advertized, but he made sure it was a good deal. He was professional, respectful and he looked me in the eye. This is important because I felt like I was getting a fair deal. I received what I wanted on my trade in vehicle and I am very pleased with my purchase. Tahir made sure that my follow-up service was taken car of and all the paperwork complete.

When I checked my car in for service, I was very happy with the professionalism and prompt service I got from Kim Meyers and Paul Monday. The ease in which I was able to come in, get my car details worked on and get back out was great.

I would recommend this dealership and these employees to friends and family.

My Review Of Walker's Renton Subaru:

I especially appreciated that I was told what to expect and that everything went exacly that way, no surprises. the maintenance was done well and so the repairs that we found necessary. Another plus: Kim found a loaner for me on quite short notice. She is knowledgeable and courteous. I have *some* knowledge of mechanics so when I say the is knowledgeable, she is knowledgeable :-) Though I'd have prefered to pay less (and who doesnt) I was satisfied with the price: lesser than at other Subaru dealerships where we serviced the car in the past.

We'll be back and recommend them to others.

My Review Of Walker's Renton Subaru:

Thank you, Kim! I was full of trepidation on arrival assuming the worst given the issue involved on my Impreza. Kim was forthcoming about the possibilities, but in a manner that instilled confidence rather than fear. She was helpful over the phone before I even arrived and then did everything to keep me calm and informed while I waited, I might add, in a very comfortable setting.
When the diagnosis was complete, her honest assessment of the car's problem and then taking the time to explain everything in detail was extremely helpful. I was given time to make a decision and to check in with a trusted advisor before accepting Walker's offer to fix the car. Kim added some good news that was completely unexpected for me; that I would not be without transportation during the couple days the car would be serviced and was treated to a loaner that was a dream to drive.
The final price for the work completed was actually lower than quoted, which confirmed this group were there to help, not to take advantage.
Thank you, Kim and your service crew. You've relieved my mind and saved me substantial anxiety and money!

My Review Of Walker's Renton Subaru:

Kim has been very helpful and friendly the last couple of times I brought my Forester to a maintenance appointment.
She is knowledgable, courteous, and keeps updating you as to what's happening with the car.
In one of my previous visits I needed a loaner while the car was in the shop. This was a last minute thing and I didn't ask for it in the first place, but she was still able to help and went out of her way to accommodate me.

My Review Of Walker's Renton Subaru:

We purchased our Subaru about 10 years ago from Walker's and have always taken it back to them for any major service. Our 2nd car is a Mazda which is about the same age and was having some issues. Based on the quality of service we have received from the service team we asked if we could take the Mazda there as well. The results were fantastic. The car drives like new again; the service team did a great job. Kim went out of her way to help us. She even vacuumed my car out before she let me have it back. I realized the next morning that I left something in the loaner car so I called to see if someone could find it. Kim immediately looked for it and within 4 mins I had a callback with the news that it was waiting for me at the front desk. I really appreciated the “I can help you approach”. I will be back.

My Review Of Walker's Renton Subaru:

As a disclaimer, this marks my first car purchase. Thus anything written should be taken with a grain of salt. Overall it was a good experience; hesitant to say excellent, only because this is the first dealership I have dealt with.

The positive:
My experience was overall quite pleasant. I didn't feel pressured when making my decision and David was able to work with my budget/lack of credit (just being out of college), etc. The staff (David and Roman) were very attentive, patient, and understanding throughout the process. I feel I was sold a quality vehicle, at a reasonable price.
The service QUALITY at the associated Subaru Repair shop is excellent. They take care of things promptly and to specification with attention to detail.

I can say that Kim Meyers from the Repair shop has been very helpful; she has all the answers and is on top of what's going on. Go to her if you seek realiability, HONESTY, and helpfulness.

The negative:
I may have overpaid (albeit I'm not sure by how much). I recognize this is my fault, since I should have been more direct with my negotiation. I paid approximately the KBB value, but I'm sure I could have talked it down a bit. In any case, I would suggest that going to ANY dealership the customer should set a maximum they are willing to pay for a particular vehicle and not be talked out of that price.
The paper work took quite some time (4 hours). Since this is my first time buying, I'm not sure if this is average or not.
The PRICE of service at the associated Subaru Repair shop is quite high. The labor is expensive compared to that of boutique shops (the primary source of price difference). This may be worth it, since you're dealing with Subaru specialists and they do quality work. Just something to think about...

My Review Of Walker's Renton Subaru:

This review is kudos for Kim Meyers for the great customer service she provided me.

I came in for an oil change and to have my front-end inspected. After the oil change was complete, Kim kept me informed and updated throughout the entire diagnostic process. Kim was professional, courteous, and informative--and worked in collaboration with me to determine next steps for repair. I'm looking forward to working with Kim in the future.

My Review Of Walker's Renton Subaru:

Outstanding service. When I took my car for emissions testing, it didn't pass - it showed as "not ready." At first, no one could figure out what was wrong. Ron went out of his way to fix what turned out to be a very challenging problem and make sure that I was happy with the service. The folks at Walker's Renton Subaru even took my car back through the emissions testing to make sure that it would pass (it did).

I have also worked with Kim Meyers in the past, and want to commend her as well.

Both Ron and Kim are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and very customer-oriented.
