My Review of Walker's Renton Subaru:
Due to prior experience at another dealer, I didn’t expect buying a car to be easy. Still, I allowed myself months to research my decision. That included test driving several different makes and models more than once. During that time, Walker's Renton Subaru was the definitely the most pleasant dealer to visit--there was always someone around willing to answer a question or help. There at Walker’s, I worked with Luke Gunter. He was by far the nicest, the most hardworking, and the most helpful of any of the salespeople I met elsewhere. He’s a patient, genuine guy, and is highly knowledgeable about Subarus and cars in general. His answers to my questions were quick and perceptive. Plus, he’s honestly enthusiastic, which I found refreshing. If you have the opportunity to work with Luke on your car purchase, I'd recommend doing so!

My Review of Walker's Renton Subaru:
I am a complete pragmatist when it comes to cars and only buy a car when I must take my old car out and put it out of its misery. I usually abhor the entire process of buying a car.

I have completely changed since my most recent experience at Renton Walker Subaru. I bought a 2012 Forrester that is not only a pleasure to drive, but also a very nice looking car. We used the Costco buyer's plan and saved a bundle and made the process painless. Worked with Luke Gunter - a very nice guy who was most accommodating and well informed. He stepped me completely through all the features - I usually buy a very basic car, but this one is loaded and I am finally in the 21st century - and that was much appreciated.
The car is going to be clear coated today and they provide a loaner while the car is in the shop.

Great experience, great car.

My Review of Walker's Renton Subaru:
We were looking for a new Impreza. We happened to find one on Walker's lot that by happenstance had just flipped back to being available. I had spoken to Luke by phone a couple of times before our visit and even he was surprised to find the car on their lot. He was quickly able to allow us to take a test drive and was very helpful.

The list price was OK but after I presented my Costco card and ask to take advantage of Costco's auto purchase program I was really pleased with the "Costco price". It really helped make the car more affordable and Walker's seem genuinely please to be able to help us get into the car through the program even though it probably reduced what they made on the sale.

Luke was easy to work with and there were no high pressure sales tactics. Or course the Impreza hatchback is so popular they sell themselves so the sales people just stand back and let the customers do all the work.

This is the 2nd car we have bought at a Walker dealership and I have been very pleased with the service we have gotten there and I am glad to recommend them.

This was my first new car buying experience and it was painless. Luke answered all the questions that I had, regardless if they were stupid questions, and did all he could do to ensure that I was satisfied. Even after the purchase was complete, he still checked in with me to make sure I was happy with my new car.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Walker Renton Subaru, and it was all thanks to Luke! Luke was extremely patient and friendly with us even though we were painfully slow in making our decision. He was our advocate throughout the whole process; wheeling and dealing with his manager to get us the best price. Our experience with Luke is the best I've ever had when buying a car. He wasn't pushy, or over the top. You could tell he just wanted to find us a car that suited our needs & lifestyle! Thanks Luke! Keep up the good work!
