Bravo Santa Monica Volkswagon and your excellant staff for delivering on your word when leasing my 2011 Jetta. Nobody in Southern California wanted to work with me, and what I wanted compared, to Santa Monica Volkswagons offer, I drove from San Diego, California to Santa Monica Volkswagon which is about 120 miles from my home, not counting traffic time. But I tested their promise over the phone, and via e-mails, and they delivered, it was easy as pie! My Review of Volkswagen Santa Monica :
The service that Vante Williams at Volkswagen Santa Monica provided me was excellent - way better than the service that I received from a other dealerships/brokers. I was looking for a 2010 JettaSportswagen TDI with manual transmition and a panoramic sunroof. No one else could find one for me to buy, not VW of Glendale, Downtown, nor even CarsDirect... Vaunte never gave up, as others must have. He found one in Nevada and arranged to have it shipped to Santa Moninica. The shipping cost was mostly offset by the windows already being tinted, as is standard in Nevada. I am very happy to have exactly what I wanted.

My Review of Volkswagen Santa Monica :
We recently purchased a 2011 Tiguan from VW Santa Monica. Our salesman Vante Williams was GREAT from the time we made the initial inquiry online. He responded via e-mail right away and was easy to reach by phone. He offered to go into the dealership to meet with us on his day off (also his Birthday) but luckily, our schedule allowed us to meet with him on one of his regular work-days.

Throughout the whole process, he was professional, patient, efficient and NOT pushy. He worked hard to get us financing that worked for us and went the extra mile to be sure we felt appreciated as customers.

This is the 4th time I've owned a Volkswagen, but the first time I purchased from VW Santa Monica. Thanks to Vante, VWSM has earned my future business and I frequently tell others about my 100% positive experience there.

My Review of Volkswagen Santa Monica :
It was a pleasure working with Vante Williams. I used a buying service through my insurance company, so there was no negotiations required. Everything was handled over the phone. When my wife and I arrived, the dealership was very busy, and Vante was working with another customer. Once he got to us, he gave us his full attention and the transaction was handled very smoothly. The only issue we had was the second key for the car was missing. We worked out an arrangement with Vante and his manager, Mike Burger, where I would purchase a replacement key at a closer dealership and once I provided my receipts for the key and the programming, I would receive a reimbursement check. I got the work done and submitted everything as requested on May 28, but never received the reimbursement check. After repeated emails and eventually phone calls, I finally received my check at the end of July. Given the time and effort it took to get what was promised really left a bad taste after what was otherwise a great experience. Lesson learned: don't leave until everything you are promised is delivered!

I had a great experience with Santa Monica Volkswagen, and my sales associate Vante Williams was amazing! He helped me through my first lease experience about 8-months ago, and he has definitely offered service after the sale, something you don't find so often. I had to call him the other day to ask a question about my lease, and he was as helpful and energetic about helping me get the answer as he was before the sale. I went to several VW stores before leasing at Santa Monica, and I felt the Santa Monica team and Vante to be the most knowledgeable about the vehicle and the most detail oriented about explaining the lease process to me and helping me understand without making me feel like the inexperienced leaser that I was. I would highly recommend this dealership and Vante Williams.

My wife and I leased a VW golf from Melvante Williams of Santa Monica VW back in April 2010 right after moving here from Boston MA. Melvante was very straightforward and a pleasure to work with. He found us a car that we liked and offered us a fantastic lease rate without any hassles or haggling. I would strongly recommend purchasing or leasing a car from Melvante at VW of Santa Monica.
