Buying a new car: A new experience. I remember going to dealerships with my parents and having it be a long day of back and forth until everyone was exhausted and no one was satisfied. I I remember going to dealerships with my parents and having it be a long day of back and forth until everyone was exhausted and no one was satisfied. I have bought two used cars before and even then, there was a dreading back and forth. When I emailed Honda of Tyson's Corner about one of their new cars, Najeem emailed me with an approximate out-the-door price - with all the taxes and fees so I knew what to expect. It was so refreshing after only getting vague responses from various other dealers! And with their sonic pricing, there was no reason to haggle on the price of the car when all other dealers had the car for $2k more. I got to the dealer a couple hours earlier than I was planning to and Najeem was very accommodating. I got a look over the car and noticed a little scratch and pointed it out. Then we went back inside and I was going to try to haggle down their processing fee which I think is pretty high ($699) but Najeem had PREEMPTIVELY gotten a $200 discount for the scratch I had pointed out. I didn't feel any need to haggle after that. He earned it! Financing office felt a little rushed. I wish I could have time to read over things more carefully but I at least saw all the numbers and if there were penalties for pre-payment before I signed so all good there. They did show me add-on warranty packages but didn't push them too hard to be off-putting. After all the paperwork was done and I was ready to take the car, Najeem couldn't find the second key. I asked if he could mail it to me and he said he will call the next day to say if he found it or not and will mail it if he found it or I'll have to come back to make a replacement if he can't. He called the next day to say he found the second key and mailed it express! I even got a nice thank you card with his phone number in case I get any questions. All in all, I came out with a new car in less than 2 hours in the most painless car-buying process in my life. Thanks! More

All the professionals that were part of the purchasing process were very professional and helpful (both sales persons, the sales manager and the finance manager). No follow up after purchase, not a pleasant experience at all. All they do is apologize after cutting a bad deal. Quality of work: Very poor. Adjusting prices and changing it. Not calculating taxes correctly, unnecessary proc fee variations. Friendliness: The manager literally showed me the door. What more, he was yelling at the sales guy in front of us. Over all experience: Very poor. Wanted a hassle free and pleasant experience of buying the car. Price: Not a great offer at all. March 23rd, 2013. I go in for a test drive and get an initial quote on the car. Was offered a $20,900 as the sale price. March 29th, 2013. Decided to buy the car, and the manager has raised the price by $1000. Says, he cannot believe that I was given a lower price, wanted a written proof!!! After much haggling and heated words, he agreed to offer $20,900. I negotiated and he adds more proc fee and tag fee!! This is unacceptable. He was just lowering sale price and increasing tags and proc fee. Absurd. Also, he offered an apr which was not in sync with the finance department. It was 1.2% more!! Be honest with your customers. The bluetooth module on the car is not working properly. There has been no follow up after a week. Dreading the after sales service. More

I purchased a 2013 Honda Civic from this dealership a month ago. I received a very fast response to the quote request I placed through Edmunds and the price was very good. The purchase process was quite month ago. I received a very fast response to the quote request I placed through Edmunds and the price was very good. The purchase process was quite streamlined--none of the numbers were at any point switched in the paperwork. The F&I experience was surprisingly low on pressure; in fact, customer service appeared to be the genuine focus throughout the process, easily exceeding my expectations. I was subsequently provided with a free loaner when my accessories were being installed and, on my last accessory-related visit, my car was washed. I would like to thank Najeem, Amine, Natalia, Pooja, Adrian, Larry and Mohammed for a wonderful car-buying experience. Honda of Tysons Corner has earned my recommendation and continued business. More
