Rickie began in the automotive industry in March 2005 at Team Nissan of Marietta in Atlanta, Georgia as a Quick Service Advisor. He soon became an Assistant Service Manager. In April 2007, Rickie moved to the Dallas, Texas area where he started working as an Assistant Service Manager at Texas Toyota in Grapevine, Texas. After a year, Rickie was promoted to Service Manager where he worked until he moved to Maryland and started at Koons in February 2011.

Rickie enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly fishing and hunting. When he can get to his home state of Florida, Rickie enjoys visiting the beach and his family's ranch. Rickie and his girlfriend, Kristen, have two King Charles Cavilers: Pippi and Tucker.
