My Review of Mungenast St. Louis Honda:
I owned a used 2002 Honda from Saint Louis Honda and was very pleased with that car. I wanted a Brand New Car, so after looking at some other brands, I decided to stay with Honda. My salesman was Sam Martin and I could not have asked for a more knowledgeable person. He was polite, and thorugh. I came in on Friday night and drove the car home on Saturday morning. He took special time on Monday to give a tutorial on the electronics, displays, and to answer all of my questions.

I do believe that the trade in value was more that I received, but obviously, I can live with that.

The finance person, Dave Gierse, however, was a bit on the verbose side. I had a lunch engagement and finally had to excuse myself.

I dealt with Sam Martin on 2 trips to the Dealership. The first trip, I was short on time, but wanted to take a test-drive in a Honda Civic. Sam was happy to let me do so. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the car and it's features. I returned to the dealership 1 week later to purchase a Honda Civic from Sam Martin. Again, he was friendly and knowlegeable. Sam was not a high-pressure salesman, which I appreciated very much. I had a trade-in vehicle toward the purchase. He was able to show me exactly how much I was getting for my trade. Tom Barr handled our financing. He was friendly, efficient and knowlegeable. The entire process was stress-free.

My Review of Mungenast St. Louis Honda:
Purchased three new Hondas from Sam in the past 10 months; a 2011 Civic for one daughter, a 2012 Civic for another daughter, and a 2012 Pilot for my wife. Sam is a straight shooter and presented great deals without all the haggling and hassle one normally gets when buying cars.

He made the process easy and we came away each time feeling like we got a very good price on a great car.

I had a 2007 Honda Pilot that had been serviced by the St. Louis Honda Service department on a couple of occassions and I was extremely pleased.Car was ready when promised, price was fair, and I had confidence that the work was well done.

If you are going to buy a Honda, go to Mungenast St. Louis Honda and ask for Sam Martin.

My husband and I stopped by the dealership on Christmas Eve just to test drive an Odyssey. Sam met us in the lot and was very friendly and helpful! Honestly, he was the best "sales guy" we ever met because he talked to us without pressuring us. He showed us the inside of the van and explained some of the features and then we went on our test drive. Sam answered all of our questions and before we knew it we made a deal! I absoultely love my van and Sam was a key factor!

I am impressed with the dealership also; it seems to want to make things easy and work for the consumer. Example, setting up appointment times for service.

My Review of Mungenast St. Louis Honda:
Dave Mungenast St. Louis Honda had a very good selection of vehicles and they were very easy to work with. I purchased a new Civic at a very good price and they were very honest from the beginning with the cost.

I was intially going to buy a car from a different manufacturer at a different dealership but had a very unpleasant experience when trying to arrive at a fair price. The salesman had one number on paper and would come back with his "deal" and that price would be $500 more than what we had discussed 5 minutes earlier. It was exactly the opposite at St. Louis Honda. They value their reputation and will not try to add on any hidden fees once they have discussed a price.

Check the better business bureau rating of St. Louis Honda and you will see they are top notch. That is not the case with many other dealers in town.

Sam was very easy to talk to. He was knowledgeble and always put forth a positive attitute. He was not pushy. I have been to dealerships in the past who tried to tell me what vehicle I wanted/needed. The CRV we purchased was ready quickly, clean and full of fuel. I will highly recommend St. Louis Honda and Sam Martin to all my friends and family.

My Review of Mungenast St. Louis Honda:
This was our second purchase from this dealership. We had such a good experience the first time, we went all the way from Chicago to St. Louis to buy our second car. We just trusted them to deal with us fairly. Sam Martin was very responsive and friendly over the phone as we worked out a deal long-distance. Then, because he would not be in the day I could come in, he arranged for his colleague, Rick Murphy, to help me out. Rick was wonderfully friendly and very well organized. It was nice to see salespeople work as a team instead of being too competitive. Tom Barr, the business person, was very friendly as well. I was amazed that he could carry on a pleasant conversation while working his way through the pile of forms. Even though I was there for a while, it really didn't seem like time was dragging by slowly. During the closing process, Tom calleed in his colleague to confirm some items. I was just really impressed by how the group worked as a team to work through the sale.
