My Review of O'Daniel Motor Sales:
I originally went to the Odaniel dealership to take my boyfriend to pick up the car he purchased. I was so very impressed with the customer service that we received from Shawn, I told Shawn I would be back when I was ready to buy a new vehicle. My boyfriend bought his vehicle in November 2010 and I was back in May 2011 to purchase my vehicle. Shawn went over and beyond what was required even after I drove off the lot. Whenever I called with questions or concerns, Shawn never hesitated to help me. Out of all the vehicles I have purchased and all the dealerships I have done business with, my visit here is by far the best. I have and will continue to recommend Shawn McSweeney and O'daniel to everyone I know. Thank you Shawn for your excellent customer service.

My Review of O'Daniel Motor Sales:
"It's a great day at O'Daniel," was how I was greeted everytime I called to talk to Shawn MacSweeney. And let me tell you what, every day I visited their lot, it was a great day. Used car salesman Shawn MacSweeney helped my fiance and I find a vehicle that will serve us well as we begin our journey into marriage. We had strict stipulations including: low miles, newer car, clean carfax, non entry-level car, and all on a tight budget (especially in today's used-car market).

We started shopping the Saturday after Memorial Day, and O'Daniels was one of our first stops because we had heard from various individuals in the car business that they are company of straight-shooters. This was very important to me because I like doing business with people who share my values.

At the end of our first day of shopping, we had not found a vehicle that fit our criteria and I apologized to Shawn saying, "I'm sorry, I know our criteria are next to ridiculous." He responded, "That's what I like about you guys!" At first I thought he was just giving us a line, portraying the typical car dealer. But by the end of the week, I found out he was genuine.

Throughout the week following our first day, I received many phonecalls and emails of dealers I had spoken with online or in person saying, "Hey, come check this car out I found for you. I think you will really like it, and it is in your budget!" Out of the lot, we only liked one (from another O'Daniel dealer down the road) but it still was not what I was looking for. I have to admit, I got quite annoyed that some of the dealers were wasting my time by showing me cars that were not even close to meeting our criteria. And although Shawn was in the mix of people making calls (and probably the most frequent) he did so because he had something that we would actually be interested in. He offered up two new body style Avengers, one of the types vehicles we had been considering.

Friday rolled around and I was about sick of shopping for cars, but I had already agreed with Shawn that Melinda and I would meet him during my lunch break and test drive the car. He was absolutely right. We loved the 2008, black, Dodge Avenger with 25k miles and one trim upgrade that had not even made it to the lot yet. The already reduced rate they offered us was still above our price range, so Shawn spoke with his manager (I'm pretty certain he ran to him because he did not want to keep us waiting) and they were willing to meet us in the middle.

To be honest, when making a larger purchase like that, I never expected to walk away without a stomach ache, but because of Shawn's help and the exemplified values of the dealership, it truly was a great day at O'Daniel.
