I do not enjoy buying cars but my experience with Darcars of Frederick made it a more palatable experience. They listened and responded to what I was looking for both in a vehicle and financially. Their service and responsiveness was great! They made something I dread doing much better and I'm very happy with my new car.

Wow ! This was a great experience working with darcars Toyota and TIM DOTSON . Tim was the sole reason I chose Toyota Avalon over Hyundai Azera . He was kind , courteous , and friendly I recommend him to anyone. Also he is a veteran so be sure to thank him for his patriotic duty.

Tos dealer was extremely thorough and welcoming. They worked with us to give us an amazing price on exactly the vehicle we wanted and even went out of their way to bring the exact color we wanted up from a different dealership. The vehicle arrived in excellent condition and Tim made sure to go through everything in it so we knew how it all worked.

I went in for service on my corolla. I have been wanting the rav4 but my lease had been too new so the payments would not work. I went in the sales area again and they worked up some numbers to trade my lease. Everyone there, even if you are not working with them, has a smile and are helpful. They talk with you and make you feel comfortable. I wanted a 2012 because I like the back better than the 2013. The 2012's are almost all gone so I needed to make a deal. They worked with me and I now have a beautiful rav4. I really like doing business there. Even when we couldn't make a deal the last time they didn't make me feel bad.

Purchased a new Prius Plug-In today at this dealership. I had originally sent a email request via cars.com with price quote (and breakdown of the OTD price). Tim Dotson was very quick to reply back and one of a handful of salesmen who actually answered my question verbatim. At the time I was looking to get a Prius 2 or 3, not really looking into the plug in models, however something came up so had to postpone my purchase. Of course the special financing ended on the prius, but the plug-in still had the 0% plus another incentive which made it more feasible to increase my price range.
Of course during/after the sales, the dealership wants you to make sure you sing their praises if corporate calls or when filling out internet ratings (i.e. this website). I have no problems giving them a "thumbs up". I've purchased way more cars than I should have in the past 12+ years. I think the main thing to take away from any car purchase is to make sure the dealership is specific when answering your questions and make sure you read the pricing (and whatever paperwork associated with the car) correctly and if everything is to your satisfaction then it should be smooth sailing. Could I have saved more money by going with another dealership. Absolutely. Why didn't I? I understand dealerships need to make a profit in order to stay in business. Who wouldn't want to make as much as possible when running a business right? In the end I went with this place because Tim was very upfront with the pricing, the finance guy (Bill Duque) was doing his job and I never really felt any pressure from him when being asked about other things I might want to add to the car prior to signing the paperwork.
When I'm in the market again I will definitely consider this dealership when shopping for another Toyota.

To start off with this was my first new car buying experience and I must say, OUTSTANDING service. Definitely want to point out Tim Dotson above all, real nice, down to earth salesman who is as honest as possible and is far from the "pushy" salesman you would expect to see from a dealership. He was extremely helpful and I highly recommend going to him if you're thinking about purchasing a new car, he's great! The TFS manager Bill Duque is another one to point out as he was also a very nice guy to deal with, and really knows how to work out numbers with you and makes sure that you have a complete understanding of what is going on. My overall experience is a 10/10, 5 star, couldn't have been better. This is, in all honesty the best Toyota dealership in Maryland!

Tim was a great sales consultant!! Tim was very helpful and worked with me on the details of the 2012 Highlander. He was very knowledgable! What I liked best was that he was not a "pushy" sales consultant. I was able to take my time and did not feel obligated to make a purchase!! There was a misunderstanding regarding the terminology "tow ready". Tim and the dealership went that extra mile, took ownership and fixed the misunderstanding. I would recommend Tim and Darcars Toyota of Frederick to any person who is in the market to purchase a new Toyota.

It was hard letting go of my Toyota to a recall, but Tim Dotson and everyone else named, made it an easier transition to be a new owner of my 2012 Toyota Tacoma. This is my 3rd Toyota truck, and I wouldn't own anything else. The whole package of buying the truck, dealing with Tim and everyone, finance, it was just an overall smooth enjoyable process.

My wife and I were looking to lease a Toyota Tundra and stopped into Darcars Toyota of Frederick the day after Thanksgiving and talked with Mr. Tim Dotson. This was our first time leasing. Darcars had a Tundra in stock the size and color we were looking for. We took it for a test drive and really liked the vehicle. Tim was friendly and knowledgeable about the features on the truck. When we returned to the dealership we discussed costs and leasing terms. My wife and I went home to think over the information and to make sure we getting a truck that will fit our situation. We returned the next day and completed our lease with Tim and Sasan. Sasan worked well with us explaining the various leasing options available. He was able to get us a better interest rate and a monthly payment we were comfortable with. When we picked up the vehicle Tim explained all of the features in the Tundra and set up the Bluetooth with my call phone. We had very good experience overall, would highly recommend Tim and Sasan. We like our Tundra!
