I’ve purchased many cars in my lifetime, and have to say my recent purchase of a Subaru Legacy at Suburban Subaru in Stuart, FL was hands-down the best experience I have ever had purchasing a new car. My salesman was Tim Smith. He knew the product and quickly answered all of my questions. I love my new Subaru!

My experience with Suburban Subaru more than exceeded my expectations. At best, I hoped for a courteous salesperson and a quick negotiation. What I got was Tim Smith. He went well above and beyond. Faster than any of the other dealerships to provide me with a VERY competitive price for the WRX right out of the gate, his speedy and friendly responses to all my questions throughout the process really won me over and his passion for these cars is genuine. You gotta love that.

Originally, I fully expected to buy my Subaru from Schumacher (based in West Palm), whom I'd been in communication with for nearly a year now, but when their salesman treated me like some mindless bimbo who can be snowed by flattery, I walked. In a way, I should really thank Schumacher for their crass behavior, without it, I might not have had the great experience that I did with Suburban Subaru and Tim Smith.

Everything was smooth and easy from our first communication, to me driving off their lot with my brand new WRX. Tim took the time to show me around the car and personally took care of the tint so that my car was ready for me right when I arrived. No hard sell on an upgrades or warranties. If you tell them what you want, they deliver. No hassle, all smiles. And this is really the way all dealerships and car salesmen should be.

When my husband and I decided to buy our first family car, I looked online and saw Suburban Subaru of Stuart. They had the best prices around. We had been researching a variety of cars and prices for a while. When we got to Suburban Subaru of Stuart, we were greeted by Tim Smith. We told him the car we were interested in and checked it out. We ended up leaving because the price was a little too high. However, Tim Smith kept in contact with us all day trying to best meet our needs and our budget. He was very professional and personable. We did not feel an ounce of pressure from anyone. We decided on a deal and buying this vehicle was the easiest experience ever. They do not give you that "dreaded" feeling of pushy salespeople. The manager Jimmy was very helpful and friendly as well. The whole experience was just so wonderful and so is our 2011 Chevy HHR. I will most certainly recommend Tim Smith and this dealership to all our friends and family! Thank you!!

First stopped in to see vehicle, spoke to Ed, but did not test drive. Came back 2 wks later, Ed on vacation, spoke to Tim Smith, test drove 2 cars, informed Tim of initial contact with Ed. All staff were professional, low key and easy to deal with. Hate buying a new vehicle, but their attitude made an unpleasant task easy. They did it all, including registering with the state and a thorough introduction to all features.

It is very common to run into an obnoxious car salesman who only wants to get your signature and their commission as fast as possible. Tim Smith proved to be a wonderful exception to that cliché, and he has ensured that we will be coming back to your dealership for years to come. I want to express my deepest gratitude to Tim and let you know what a great asset he is to your company. Tim superseded my expectations. I am so impressed with him that I will recommend him and your dealership from now on. Tim was not only professional but he was pleasant, laid back, good natured, and replied to every single email I sent him. Even though I bought a used car, Tim treated me as if I bought a brand new Lexus. I bought an used car for my mom this time but I'll be sure to contact Tim again when its time for me to replace my 10 yrs old car.

Again, my most sincere thanks to Tim for a job well done. It is rare to get great customer service nowadays. Tim did just that and beyond.

Can this really be a car dealership? I posted my search for a new Forester online and the next morning I got a call from Steve and Tim @ Suburban. Inspired by his enthusiasm, I drove 60 miles to meet with Tim Smith that afternoon. Tim is knowledgeable, conversant, down-to-earth, and not just pleasant, but really fun, to deal with. When I found the car I wanted, Tim worked fairly with me on the price and my trade-in, and even included a nifty Subaru cap in the super-duper deal! No jumping thru hoops, no hustle, no mystery or hype.
Mike in Finance is tremendous: He worked through a mountain of necessary paperwork, coerently explained various options, upgrades, financing, insurance options, etc., and graciously accomodated my choices. I never felt coerced, hurried, or confused.
I chose to purchase from Subaru because of its high standards of manufacturing and environmental commitment. I commend Suburban Subaru for its commitment to the peace of mind and happiness of each of its customers. "---- It's what makes a Subaru a Subaru."
