My Review of Toyota of Southern Maryland:
My husband and I just bought our second Prius from Wayne Cook. The first was in the summer of 2008, when gasoline prices were skyrocketing. (That seems like a carnival ride compared with what's happening now!) In 2008 we did our research online and then went to talk at Toyota of Southern Maryland. It was Wayne who helped us then. We were very flexible in what we wanted, any of several models and any of several colors. We expected a six-month wait. Ten days after our first visit Wayne called to say that our car had arrived! And it was the beautiful Barcelona Red--Wow! We liked the car and definitely appreciated its ingenious engineering and design.
In December 2011 my daughter and her husband needed a new car so (long story short) we "sold" them our 2008 Prius--gave them a super-good deal--and they LOVE the car. Martin's and my agreement was that he would drive his Explorer until he decided it was time for a change. A week ago he made that decision, we talked it over, did a little research online, and Martin went to visit Wayne the next day. Martin selected the Prius that he thought would suit us both. This past Tuesday when we went to purchase the car, which had been driven down from NJ, I wanted to look at a different model. Wayne never missed a beat. He showed us the two cars and pointed out the differences between the two. He really knows his stuff! We wound up buying the 2012 (red!) Prius Four and not the 2011 Prius 3 Martin had selected. Wayne had the 2012 Prius prepped for us while he and we did the paperwork. There was no haggling over the price, which is exactly what we expected. Wayne was courteous, efficient, knowledgeable, professional, in good humor--all in all, a pleasure to deal with. We got the car we (or I) wanted, and the experience with Wayne was really enjoyable. We also chatted with several other employees at Toyota of SoMD and all were pleasant and professional. Wayne is exactly the kind of person Martin and I like to do business with: we feel we can trust him, he is always professional but also quite personable.
I didn't have time when we purchased the car to get Wayne's instruction on the new features of the car so I went back the next day. We had some difficulty linking my phone with the car and Entune. Wayne followed up by calling folks in CA, calling me to let me know, and having a man in CA call me. I have to say I'd much rather deal with Wayne than the guy in CA who took up lots of my time, kept repeating himself, and didn't really help all that much.
Wayne rocks!

My Review of Toyota of Southern Maryland:
I was looking for a new truck and had been to several other dealerships in the area and nobody had what I wanted or come close to my price. But once I got to talking to Wayne Cook it was a different story. I was referred to him by a friend. Mr. Cook did his very best to explain everything to me as I asked him question after question. He was right there with me from the very beginning to when I signed the papers. He took me through the buildings and explained how things worked when and if needed work done, who was who, he went through the "whole nine yards" with me. Just like a friend would do. I couldn't of asked for better sales people then these 2. There was no pressure to buy the truck just take it for a test drive and let the truck do the selling. If I need another truck or know of somebody that needs one I would recommend this dealership to them.

Friendly, NOT pushy experience! Can't say enough good stuff about Toyota of southern Maryland. Wayne Cook found the truck I wanted, got it here quickly, and didn't push any of the extraneous stuff usually pushed by dealerships. Awesome!

I was referred to Wayne in my search for a new Toyota Camry. He made the experience a pleasant one. After test driving and reviewing possible options, the Camry I was interested in was not available on their lot. Wayne found the car and had it available for me within 2 days. When I first saw the car, I was very pleased. I took it for a test drive and purchased it that night. This is my third Toyota Camry and I have been using Toyota of Southern Maryland's service department since they opened their current location and will continue to do so. Thanks to Wayne, my car buying experience was a pleasant one!

My Review of Toyota of Southern Maryland:
This is my second purchase through Toyota of Southern Maryland. I bought my 2010 Tundra last year, and because the experience was excellent, I came back and bought my wife her 2012 4Runner. My salesman for both purchases was Wayne Cook. My first purchase went so well, I could not help but come back for my second purchase which once again, Wayne provided superb assistance. Wayne is very good at making customers feel welcome. He is very patient and caters to the customer's needs. I mentioned to Wayne that I was considering buying a new 4Runner and he explained the different models and packages in pretty good detail which made my selection much easier. I told Wayne exactly what I was looking for in a 4Runner, he found one in Virginia, and had it brought in for me to see. We fell in love with it right away and went forward with the purchase. Now for the Financing!! John was our finance manager and was most excellent as well. He is very personable and receptive to buyer's needs. He made the financing process smooth, fast, and painless. We appreciate the professionalism and care the dealership provides. Well done!

My Review of Toyota of Southern Maryland:
Over a period of about one month I shopped for a new or near new used Toyota SUV or truck. We eventually settled on a new 2012 Highlander. We shopped several dealerships throughout the Mid-Atlantic area in order to determine the best combination of trade price for our current 2006 Highlander and a new 2012 Highlander. Wayne patiently helped us review many vehicles and followed up periodically to determine our updated viewpoint about which to buy. When we selected the Hioghlander as our vehicle of choice, then Wayne found the exact model and equipment that we need in a Highander. He also helped us achieve a good combination of price and trade value as well as excellent financing for the new Highlander.

My wife and I have had our current Toyotas serviced for the last four years by Toyota of Southern Maryland. We were very happy to buy our car here as well as to continue our service in the same location.
