What Others Say

Happy coincidences is what the dealership called the oil filter housing failure 3 days after an oil change and a clip not being attached properly on the fuel line 5 days after the oil filter housing replacement and deep cleaning of the underside of my car after the oil leak that caused my car to break down and spew fuel from underneath my car. They tried to convince me there is no way they were responsible for these problems and they tried to tell me Firestone was not a reputable repair shop the day after my car broke down on the side of the road (that’s how long it took them to answer my phone calls and emails…the next day) and they would not have paid for the 34 mile tow to keep giving them more opportunities not to end on a bad note. They probably won’t reimburse me for my last prepaid oil change, but I will never go back to Mountain View Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Ringgold, Georgia. While I might not be able to prove they were the reason for these failures, I can’t afford to keep paying them for chances to prove that they were not. They insulted us, made my wife cry, then had us sit in the lobby for 30 mins why the General Manager, Service Manager, and service member who insulted us tried to figure out how to try and make us happy and keep giving them our business, it almost worked till my car started spewing fuel which could have caused a fire and would have totaled my car or worse, and left me standing on the side of the road. Conner was the only bright spot in that service department and he’s the youngest member of the service team. Firestone repaired my car by 9am this morning after dropping it off 30 mins before closing. The dealership had my car from 45 mins before closing on a Tuesday night and I did not have it back till Thursday morning after calling them over 10 times Thursday morning with no return calls, only a text saying it was ready and they over charged our checking account over the weekend and had to refund us but not before putting us in the negative and not being able to pay the auto debits that came out yesterday morning. Hard lesson but one I’m not doomed to repeat.

I took my ram 1500 in for a recall. I expected to get a call about needing brakes. I was quoted a cost close to $300.00 for the service that included "resurfacing" the rotors and new pads. Normally I do this type of service but I'm 71 and quite busy so I approved the service. After picking up the truck and driving it 70 miles the drivers side rear wheel was hot and the brake smelled like burnt brake. I called and took it in that day (this was the day after the service) and they told me The mechanic was gone for the day and if I could leave it they can look at it first thing in the morning (Saturday). The truck was left and after waiting until 11:40 I called the service dept to see when I could pick it up. I was then told the rear calipers would need to be replaced, the rotors were torn up due to the defective rotors and they would need replacing too all for only just under $1,000.00. I told them to button it up and I would pick it up. I told them I felt it was only the parking brake that needed adjusting and the rest of the quote was simply not true. However I went and bought to rebuilt calipers and brake fluid for 150.00 at the local parts store. After pulling the driver caliper I found no abrasion burns on the new pads or the rotors. The pins on the old caliper never had new grease applied and the main piston on the caliper worked just fine (meaning the caliper was good). The wheel/ rotor moved stiff so I adjusted the parking brake just as I had told the boy that I talked to on the phone. After bleeding the brakes and putting all new fluid in the system I learned I needed a tool to bleed the ABS. So I just took the truck to a local garage, had them install the second caliper (now knowing I didn't need it and they charged me just under $200.00 so in total I ended up paying $350.00 for the rear calipers to be replaced and the system blead. Having all my facts in order I went to the dealership and talked to the service manager. He was a nice young man and listened to all my "Woes". Said he would talk to his service technician with over 30 years experience and apologized...I encouraged him to look at the original calipers but he figured he had enough from viewing the videos I made about the ones I took off. No offer to compensate me for any of my additional cost for things I didn't need. No monetary offer of any kind. No free oil change, free wash or even a free candy bar...Just thanks for letting me know. Oh by the way...he did apologize for what happened. So Mountain View Jeep Chrysler Dodge Blah blah blah. You just cost the other Mountain View Hyundai dealer next door to you a sale on one of your Santa Cruise trucks my wife liked.... What ever happened to "What can we do to make this right"? With love and affection Greg AKA the grumpy old man at Mountain View

After purchasing several trucks, I found service is greatly lagging "customer" in front of service. Can't get service manager to communicate. Trying to get issue resolved but it has become a challenge. Time will tell, not giving up.

Love my 2006 TJ and the service I received was excellent. They also did my lift, wheels and tires.

SCAMERS / BAIT & SWITCH - CLASSIC CAR CONMEN running this dealership. I have been buying cars for 25+ years and only run into such a rude, nasty manager one other time. RUN don't walk. I wish I had read reviews before wasting my time with these unethical managers. They do not deserve another sale. So many dealers to shop from these days, use one that treats you like a human. Absolutely ridiculous place, nothing but a bunch of con artists here.

We bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee and love it. We where in and out quick great dealership.
