I've been into performance cars and the mechanics of automobiles since I was a kid. My first BMW experience was behind the wheel of the newly-released Z3 at a Susan G. Komen 'Drive for the Cure' event. Until then, I could never understand why people made such a fuss about BMWs, but when I drove that car, top down, through the winding Chester County roads, I quickly understood. As a part of my early training, I attended the BMW Academy in Greenville, SC, where I spent one week testing each model under the most extreme conditions. That experience showed me the unique driving characteristics of each car. I currently have an M3 Coupe with a six-speed transmission. It's like driving a race car: the handling and performance is unbelievable. It's also a very limited production model. I enjoy helping people, and I always try to make the process of car shopping as enjoyable as it can be.

Like a number of others who work here at Otto’s, my interest in automobiles goes back to my childhood. I remember always being around my dad as he restored cars and motorcycles, and because he worked in sales for Porsche-Audi-Volkswagen for 37 years, we always had the latest models in our driveway. I guess I shouldn’t have been too surprised when I ultimately followed in his footsteps. While connecting customers with the BMW of their dreams is obviously the objective, my focus is doing what I can to help them feel relaxed and comfortable at each step along the way. For me it’s more about talking to them as new friends rather than simply prospects, which in turn makes everything more fun – which it should be.

I have a number of different responsibilities here at Otto’s, but surely one of the most satisfying is working with clients at the pivot point when they actually take delivery on their new or Certified Pre-Owned BMW. Whether it’s their first or one of many, there is always a palpable sense of anticipated pleasure that never fails to prompt smiles all around. While our Client Advisors are usually the ones turning over the keys and giving an orientation on the vehicle, it’s my role to step in during their absence. And 45 days later, when customers bring their cars in for their first service visit, I have another opportunity to answer any questions that may have arisen in the interim about any aspect of their BMW. I really enjoy those interactions.

I am a Lancaster County boy. Married, to beautiful Colleen for 24 wonderful years, with 2 great teen children. Both straight-A students, active in Soccer and Track, I'm a very proud dad! My BMW history goes in line with my history. My dad bought a 1967 1600 Alpina, because he couldn't afford a Porsche 911. From that point on, we became a BMW family, which translated in to only BMWs for over 50 years! Both I and my brother are in the BMW business. Me in sales since 1990, and my brother a Master BMW Technician since 1980. I own several models, including a 2017 330i xDrive Sport Wagon, a 2011 X5 35i, a 2008 M3 Convertible, a 2008 335i Coupe, and an ultra-rare 1985 M635 CSi Euro (M88). As is famously true for many born in the Philadelphia area, I grew up here and never left. In my mid-twenties, decided to follow my passion for automobiles and applied for a sales position at a dealership in Exton. It was there that I found out how much I enjoy helping people through the process of buying a car. I discovered I have a gift for listening carefully and using that information to offer whatever level of guidance and advice my customers are seeking. I’ve been successful with that balanced approach, and because clients seem to appreciate it, I’m still doing that today.
