Poor Service We took our X5 in because the rain sensor was not working. We had the windshield replaced last summer, which we told the service man. When we needed We took our X5 in because the rain sensor was not working. We had the windshield replaced last summer, which we told the service man. When we needed to have the windshield replaced, we called BMW of Spokane and they told us they used Safelite. We spent over $1,900 getting our car serviced. They tried resetting the rain sensor and that didn't worked, so then they replaced the rain sensor. After this didn't work, they called and said that this wasn't working because we didn't have a BMW windshield. So, why did they do all this and charge us for it, if they knew it wouldn't work. Also, why did they send us to Safelite if their windshield wouldn't work? The next day we took our car to Safelite. All they had to do was replace the sensor pad, which took them 15 minutes. This was done at no cost. So why didn't BMW of Spokane send us to Safelite first? We contacted BMW after Safelite fixed the problem and they promised to issue us a credit for $250. We have not yet received this credit. More
