I had asked for a loaner and it was on the email that was sent to confirm my appointment. There were also other notes on the email, but advisor either didn't review, have or checked the email. So no loaner (why fight?) and the other items weren't brought up and I didn't feel like spending more $$ there anyway. My Experience with service at Volvo in Great Neck I spent several hours at the Volvo Service Center in Great Neck. 4 hours of waiting with an appointment, for nothing Went with a 2018 XC90 inscription which I thought had a passenger side exhaust separated and loosened by coming into contact with a curb. There was a space between the exhaust pipe and the lower right portion of the vehicle. Not major but noticeable. I was told it was popped back into place but for a longer term fix, body work might be required. I was told after 2 hours and 45 minutes that the car was being washed. 1 hour and 15 minutes later the car was delivered to me and lo and behold, nothing was done to it at all. That is unacceptable. I will not go back to that place. If that is any example of the work product that Volvo dealer find acceptable then I probably will regret having made the move from Toyota to Volvo. Just as an aside, another customer was told his oil change would take 1 1/2 hours but 3 hrs later his car was brought out having sustained a gash in the driver's side door while in the shop for the oil change. More
