I pre-called my insurance company so tax,title,registration was streamlined.  When I had it independently checked, Sullivan Tire said it was mechanically fine yet the tires were problematic.  \u0026quot;They sell tires.\u0026quot;  True.  AND... it had the original tires from 2016 on the car; the inside treads were worn and cracking, and it was questionable whether it would pass inspection.  They conferred and offered to replace the tires (at their cost) and have it inspected, which they did and so far (it\u0026#39;s only been a few days) everything had been fine.\n\nTwo small-ish things: (1) I would have expected their own safety inspection to have noticed the tires and replace them prior to offering for sale, and including such replacement in the sale literature.  (2) I *HATE* the price ending in xx,998.  I know there\u0026#39;s a psychology behind it, and I hate it.
