She resent the email and included language to that effect.\n\nThe same email also contained generic fine print referencing “incentives” and “eligibility.” This detail became relevant the following day, when we were told the quoted price included an incentive for which we did not qualify.\n\nThis was never clearly communicated upfront. It was not explained verbally, and the prior email (which was read to me word-for-word) did not make this clear in any meaningful way.\n\nAt one point, I was told I would be handed off to a new salesperson “who was new and in need of business,” which introduced additional confusion into an already unclear process.\n\nThe following day, while finalizing, I was suddenly provided the buyout sheet I had originally requested—but only for one vehicle. When I asked for the same on the second vehicle (a 2026 Ridgeline), I was then told the quoted price included an incentive for which we did not qualify, which would be added back in.\n\nWhen I questioned the discrepancy, I was repeatedly talked over and told “it was in the email.”\n\nShortly after ending the call, I received a message accusing me of “verbal abuse” and stating they would no longer move forward—as if they had chosen to terminate the deal.
