Dealerships are usually backed up for weeks where I am from and tend to be overpriced and pushy (we lease a grand highlander), so I had low expectations. On Tuesday,  after stopping at Belle Tire, (thinking it would be more cost effective and faster) where they told me they would need me to drop it off and that it would probably take more than 4 hours. Additionally, I was informed that if I needed an appointment they couldn’t fit me in until Saturday, so I decided to go to Muskegon Toyota. In the end I am super glad I did. After chatting with someone in the service department they said my best bet was to check in at their quick lube and hopefully they’d be able to inspect and plug the tire.\n\nI checked in with Amanda O. She was so friendly and sweet! She said it might take an hour depending on if they had to do a soap bath to find the leak but she didn’t think it would take that long. Sure enough, I was in an out within 45 minutes with a patch in my tire from… you guessed it, a nail. They even did a multi-point inspection and recommended an alignment (I’ll do that when I’m back in PA) . They had a web app where they send a text notification to view a video from the mechanic who showed the issue and they send you recommended services to approve or decline. It was nice to not feel pressured into extra services and to be able to sign the paperwork digitally. If I ever have car trouble in Michigan again I would definitely bring my vehicle back to this dealership.
