Although the manager removed some of them after I questioned the bill, the experience left me disappointed. I drive an old Honda Element that is reliable and well maintained. I brought it in for them to replace the radiator. A day after picking it up a hose blew off and my motor completely blew out.  It was 100% thier fault but I had to spend $3k on a new motor. This was a tough pill to swallow but I accepted it should extend my use of the vehicle.  During the process I spoke with them and we agreed they would let me buy parts at cost and they would do the labor.  We specifically discussed replacing the motor mounts.  I’m not sure who would do this job without replacing them.  I was told that would be within my budget.  I took the car for an alignment issue to a different service shop only to find out they swapped out the motor in a vehicle with 250k miles on it and reused the old motor mounts.  I went back to German to speak to someone about it.  They took my number and told me the service manager would call me back.
