I didn’t find this out until after I drove 2+ hours to come look at it. The previous owner also lost the key for it, and the power locks did not work on it since the one key they had for it when they were selling it to me with had no power locks function, and also didn’t have a chip in it. This was quite the surprise to me considering their website said it had keyless entry, and as far as I knew before I drove there everything was working perfectly on it. The worst part about it not having the correct key for it is that every time I would manually unlock the door after locking it the car alarm would go off. I asked them if they could include a key before selling it to me, and they said that would be my responsibility, and reassured me that it would be only $100-$200 at most. Well $400 later I was able to get a new key…\n\nAlso they are lying about the listed price they show on the website for all vehicles, it’s actually $1300 higher than they list it for because they force you to buy it with this dumb interior stain warranty that costs $700, and a $600 pulse brake light system that they install on it right away when they buy the car from someone else. I ended up being able to talk them to take off the interior warranty, and to include the brake light system for “free,” but then as I was driving home my wife told me that the pulse braking light system wasn’t even working on it so they never even had it installed in the first place, and just lied about doing it so they could try to charge me another $600.\n\nSo in the end thanks for nothing Lithia. All dealerships suck, but this one is especially scummy. I took my wife\u0026#39;s vehicle in for an oil change.  The cabin air filter was removed for an inspection, left on the ground and eventually damaged.  I went back into the dealership, informed them the air filter was not placed back into the compartment and had incurred damage due to the glove box rolling onto it.  I requested a new air filter at no cost and was met with confusion, and rudeness.  The service manager told me he would use it as a \u0026quot;training opportunity\u0026quot; for his service crew.  If the service crew needs trained on how to put a filter back where it belongs, its a little scary they are the ones performing routine maintenance.\n\nThis was 1-1/2 months after I purchased a pickup from Lithia Toyota.  My family has shown loyalty to Toyota in purchasing multiple vehicles from them, clearly no loyalty is shown back. However our original salesperson Brandon  who was new got  replaced by another salesperson Chad because apparently Brandon wasn’t closing the deal fast enough.  The second sales person Chad took less than 5 minutes to run us off and I can tell you we will never go back to that dealership again and would suggest nobody else buy a car there either.  When we asked for a $4500  discount to pay for the hail damage on the vehicle we were told “why would we give you that much when your deductible is only $1000”  to which I replied “I didn’t think buying a hail damaged vehicle then turning it in on insurance was legal” I was assured it was.  Right up until my wife was on the phone with our insurance agent and then Chad mutters to himself “well I don’t know if they will if you tell them ahead of time”  So yes the salesperson Chad wanted us to commit insurance fraud.   We left a message for general manager telling him to call us so we could discuss but never heard a word.  So apparently it\u0026#39;s company policy to sell a vehicle no matter what including telling the customer to commit insurance fraud.  Would work with Brandon again any day as long as at different dealer.  I wonder if their current insurance provider would be OK with what they are telling customers to do.\n\nI wish I knew if there was a way to respond to your post directly but because I have never done a review before now I don’t know if there  is or not.  But I did find how to edit my post so I will use that.  If for one second I believed what you said I probably would reach out.  However the fact that we left you a voicemail three days prior to my review  and never heard from anybody I apologize but I don’t believe you.
