I found the car on auto trader. Pat was on vacation when I first called. But, he asked one of his employees, Robbie, to show me the car. The showroom was really an enormous garage with MG’s and muscle cars all gleaming where they sat. I felt that I was in a place where folks really cared about their cars. On first inspection it was plain that the Porsche was in great condition for being 20 years old. The exterior was gleaming and the interior was really clean with no damage to the leather seats. I went out driving with Robbie, who showed me the twisty roads.  What a great ride!  Returning to the garage I was able to see all the service records for the car going back 15 years. Also, the Carfax was there to see. They let me put down a deposit to hold the car until I could have my wife take a ride with me. On Monday I returned with my wife. We met Pat who was welcoming and cordial and gave us more history on the car. My wife enjoyed riding in the Porsche as much as I did and we finalized the deal. Pat was able to take care of the transfer right then and there. He made the purchase an easy experience.
