It was going to replace an MGA I sold years ago.
What caught my attention was a super clean VW Dune Buggy sitting in the middle of the garage. They just got it.
Pat to work to make sure it was street legal and would past inspection. Then arranged transport within a week.
We are enjoying making it ours.
I would definitely recommend getting a vintage automobile from McGinty Motorcars. Before I left I sold my 1963 Austin Healey 3000 and my 1971 429CJ Torino which I had for 28 years. At one time I had a 1968 MG roadster which was so much fun to drive. At 81 needed to spend some of my 2 step daughter's inheritance. They are waiting like 2 vultures. I was looking for a 60's GTO for a long time. However I remember fuel problems and no longer to need quarter mile runs. Started to look a MG's again. McGinty had one which I passed on then decided to look again. I drove 2 1/2 hours one way to look at it.
The staff were excellent and got to talk to the mechanic. This car was a 1980 and had only 56000 plus miles. Pat and his wife are wonderful folks. This car was excellent and I am so happy I bought it. Who ever had the car before took very good car of it.
Looking to many years, what I have left, to have some fun. Thanks to all at McGinty motors.
Regards
Roy Crichton'
Everett, pa

                September 17, 2026

Sushi Jim

Loved the experience I had buying my car from here. Super friendly, fast and lowest possible stress car buying process. I’ve bought many cars through my life and the experience here is how I wish how all of my past purchases were, but many have been quite the opposite. If you’ve dealt with large dealerships, then you likely know what I mean. There were no dealings with the layers of sales people, managers and finance, which is how most dealers run the buyer through the wringer. Pat was wonderful and made me very comfortable. You can tell he really cares about what he has to sell and has got some interesting collectibles. I’d be happy to buy another car here in the future.

                September 13, 2026

Robert VanHoove

Already looking forward to my next purchase from Pat.
Everything from being in that incredible building, the purchase process and delivery was seamless and enjoyable. From the very first conversation to the moment I drove away, their team delivered truly world-class service.

What stood out immediately was their deep knowledge and passion for classic cars. They didn’t just “sell” me a Corvette—they walked me through its history, condition, and unique character in a way that showed genuine care and expertise. Every question I had was answered thoroughly and honestly, which gave me total confidence in my purchase.

The professionalism and attention to detail were second to none. The car itself was exactly as described—if not better—and clearly had been prepared with pride. The buying process was smooth, transparent, and completely stress-free, which is rare these days.

What really sets McGinty Motorcars apart is how they treat their customers. I never felt like just another transaction; they made the entire experience personal and enjoyable. I have bought seven cars for family members since 2020 using Autotrader and Carfax so I feel confident in relating to others who might be checking out a vehicle here that this smaller local dealership is a true jewel. My experience with the McGintys started in late September: I had been looking off and on for a few months for a certain type of hybrid SUV and a beautifully maintained, extremely well priced model popped up on Carfax one Wednesday night. I sent an email inquiry that night and Pat called me the next morning. We had an easy, great conversation about the car; since he selects them himself, he was able to answer my initial questions immediately. I went up that afternoon, and what a delightful experience the historical showroom and building are to see. The vintage cars are amazing! Pat’s excellent team were so gracious in allowing me to view the garage and answer my many questions: thank you to the entire team for the nice conversations and the test drive experience that followed. Our daughter drove me right back up on Friday; Courtney McGinty (Pat’s gracious wife) had all the paperwork ready for us (plate, registration, title app) so that I drove away with my great car within twenty minutes. I have had the car for a month now and I love it. It is a really lovely used hybrid that Pat offered at a extremely reasonable price. I still think about the vintage green MG that I saw there and hope someday to return for one like it. From more recent cars to old classics all in pristine condition. We were looking for a first car for my teenage daughter so it was very important to us to find a reliable car specifically a Jeep. Being a multiple Jeep owner I appreciated the pictures Pat took of the Jeep as many sellers don’t post pictures underneath Jeeps due to rust. Pat specifically put pictures from underneath the Jeep in his listing and he was straight forward and honest the whole way through the purchase and I have the piece of mind knowing my daughter will be in a safe and reliable Jeep. I highly recommend Pat and his team if you are looking for a classic or a car for a family member!

                April 22, 2025

Marv Redshaw "I enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend them"

I enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend them as well. That was until I visited their place of business. After my two week long experience, I understand why McGinty Motorcars has a 5-star rating.

Personable, friendly, and trusting.
