Enjoyed the experience at Cable Dahmer. Met numerous of the staff and felt good about dealing there.
My sales experience was good for the most part. I was overwhelmed with the technology heavy "paperwork" experience. I don't like doing the transactions electronically on a virtual desktop. I prefer seeing the papers that I'm signing in hard copy. But, I liked the people--sales, sales manager, and finance--with whom we dealt. And I like the new Equinox!
I applaud the professional atmosphere from the clean showroom service floor and desks to the gorgeous friendly staff! it looks and smells like new cars and they even give me a courtesy car wash afterwards and park it enticingly next to other sexy cars on the lot showing off its stance. I get treated like they want me there, and that makes me want to come back. I was offered a free ride home and back at available times and i feel that it makes it all worth the more premium price. The communication and tech notes along with the service agent communicating my needs, gets us right to the issue for the answers i need. I have a semi-professional garage and do my own work and more, i enjoy it, but when i need specific work done to factory specifications so that it lasts as engineered that is too complex or out of my reach i only want it done once correctly the first time.... thats why i take it to someone who has all the best tools. They even give me a 100 or so point global inspection to make sure i didnt miss anything it helps to get a second opinion from a professional to see system status to keep things maintained. I am waiting on a double transplans now and full time care giving for a fimily memeber so i appreciate the kind courtesy and attention to my needs. In concluding the thing i would change is anearly estimate before i leave the keys, even subject to change... would greatly help because sometimes i may like more work done if i had known what each component would run up front (subject to change). and i completely applaud the chance to choose aftermarket local parts in some circumstances as opposed to waiting for oem parts that may make no difference to me! great experiences sofar 3 times. h3 hummer and chevy silverado crew and ford explorer i look forward to coming back i was a previous customer of laird noller topeka and was let down on 2 vehicles costing months and thousands in thier garage. they too were nice mechanics seemed less available and more confused plus less choices on parts for liability and warranty issues. ...Also who doesn't like waiting next to a brand new caddy or camaro.... woooa!
