What Others Say

I have had a great experience. Have been there twice now, always very nice. Would rate 5 outta 5.

John was fantastic.. second purchase he helped us with… living in Tn, buying a car in Ga……(because John is so great)

On 6/6/25 I purchased a Dodge Durango GT. After months of waiting and researching, I thought I finally found the vehicle and decided to visit the dealership ready to buy. This was the worse experience I’ve had purchasing a vehicle in my life. The customer service was A1 on my arrival. Ms. Tylre Belle was pleasant and I didn’t feel like I was getting the usual crooked car salesman vibe from her that you’re afraid of when buying a vehicle. Everything was smooth. I was told the vehicle had been through inspection and everything checked out. Trusting the salesperson I decided to purchase the vehicle. Biggest regret ever. Not only did my vehicle have electrical issues that should have been addressed through their inspection process, it had roaches. Yes roaches. I brought this to the attention of the service specialist. I was introduced to the GM salesman Jaymin Harris who at the time seemed like a nice gentleman. He offered me his card and assured me that him and his team would check the vehicle out and get the electrical Issues fixed. They would also inspect the vehicle for roaches. After having my vehicle for a week, I came to pick up the vehicle and Jaymin disclosed to me that him and team could not find evidence of roaches in the vehicle. That was a Friday 6/27/2025. That Saturday 6/28/2025 me and my son were out shopping that morning when my son opened the car door and saw a live roach running towards the area under the navigational system. I immediately drove the vehicle back to the Dodge dealership where Jaymin himself opened the back passenger door and saw two live roaches running underneath the back seats through the carpet. At this point I was livid. He tried to discredit me that Friday staring him and his team did not see roaches even though there were dead roaches underneath the carpets around the passenger seat. His attitude was that of a person irritated that the consumer had a complaint. Irritated that yet again I was back with the same problem they told me wasn’t a problem. I will say that I did not have the best attitude either. I was highly pissed off. I had just dropped $18,000 as a down payment on my purchase. I was told nothing was wrong with the vehicle. Electrical issues and issues with the cabin filter should have been addressed when they inspected this vehicle before putting it on the lot for sale but they didn’t. Instead they produced documentation where their inspection brought the problems yet issues never fixed. I’m not sure if the sales lady knew but these dealerships know. They knew it was roaches in the vehicle just didn’t care. After picking up my vehicle today 7/7/2025 Jaymin produced paperwork from a local pest control they hired who said the vehicle had no traces of roaches and no chemical treatment was given. Lmao I was amused but receptive because I’m 100% sure a thorough check wasn’t done. I can guarantee pest control was given general information so they went with that. I mean you can’t expect dealerships to be honest. We as the consumers hope that they will be truthful but a lot of the time they let us down. Getting a sale is the goal no matter where you go to purchase a car. Buy here pay here come with a lot of risk that you tend to avoid when going to the big name dealerships. Or at least you hope to avoid. The service I got today was disheartening. I was treated like I no longer mattered. I was treated like I was bothering the folks at Athens Dodge. Once they got the sale they didn’t care anymore. I’m not happy with my purchase. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone. Jaymin had the nerve to discredit the negative reviews as well by suggesting the good reviews were really all that mattered. That in itself speaks volumes. I suggest that when you purchase a vehicle from them that you literally strip the vehicle first because if you don’t you may get the same results I got. The customer is the least valued at this establishment.
