I purchased a vehicle from this company six months ago and have not received the title to the vehicle. The business has since closed and the owner Kris has informed me that I would receive the title This was a lie and he will not return messages from me.
Almost 60 days and my leinholder or myself have not received the title for my vehicle. I have placed numerous phone calls to NAG with no return calls. I have text them on numerous occasions and I receive a reply occasionally. These replies that I have received have been misleading promises.
UPDATE: NEARING 60 DAYS AND STILL NO TAGS: I have been told: Nashville Auto Group has yet to pay City Auto Finance for the title of the Xterra that we bought on October 22nd. It has been over 30 days. We paid a DOC fee. I have been told: City Auto Finance has picked up all of Nashville Auto Groups' inventory. I have been told by the bank that financed the Xterra for me that their attorney has sent a letter demanding the title. Basically, from what I understand, Nashville Auto Group was paid by the bank that financed me, yet Nashville Auto Group kept the money and did not pay the holder of the title, City Auto Finance. I have been told by the State of Tennessee to file a claim against Nashville Auto Group's surety bond. All calls to Nashville Auto Group have went unanswered. My wife drove by their business to get a 2nd drive-out temp tag, as ours has expired, and the doors were padlocked. On another note, the vehicle we purchased has MASSIVE amounts of rust on the under carriage. The rotors are rusted out. The brake calipers are rust. The upper and lower control arms are rust. The exhaust is rusted so bad it will need immediate replacement. The frame rails are rusted. The struts are total rust. My fault for not getting under the vehicle. Their website claims they sell the highest quality vehicles. I am not of the opinion that a vehicle with this much rust is high quality.
60 days since purchase, still no title. I found out today they have been shut down.Out of Trust. Stay away.I cant believe this has happened .
They are terrible and deceitful. They bought our car as a trade-in and then didn't pay it off. When contacted about it, they made excuses and blantantly lied about it. They created pseudo shipping labels for payment. They (Holly) said it was picked up and then the next minute that she dropped it off herself personally. When the final payoff was sent...THEIR CHECK BOUNCED!!! Really? Even if they were just incompetent it should be known that TN requires them to complete their transaction within 30 days...as of this post we are at 62 days. We will have to spend our time explaining our "late" payment because of these lazy, deceitful. and incompetent idiots chose to try to skate on a regular and normal business transaction. Mistakes happen. Active deceit is terrible especially when it affects real people.
In our business, we put on a lot of miles and so over the years, we have purchased over 25 vehicles for ourselves and our children. As a result, we have dealt with a number of car dealers. But none of those dealers can compare to the Nashville AutoGroup. Stuart did a terrific job in the way he conducted our transaction, from his emails to our face to face meeting. The deal was made without any sales pressure, haggling or gimicks. The price for the newer car and our trade in was set, we then drove nearly 600 one way from West Michigan to Nashville to consummate this transaction and we will do it again when we need our next vehicle. Thanks again Stuart for all that you do. I'll be sending my family and friends down to see you soon. Bob
