I drove about an hour to the dealer expecting to get my gear case fluid change as I had mentioned during this when I scheduled the maintenance appointment. I paid $316 for a diagnosis of the things that mi gear case fluid change as I had mentioned during this when I scheduled the maintenance appointment. I paid $316 for a diagnosis of the things that might need fixing or replaced. I began to get concerned when Peggy told me that with the suspension light being on, it is causing the gear case to slip. When I received the final check sheet the front page has boxes to check for the lights, windshield wipers and other items. These were all checked off as working when I have a front light out, windshield wiper rubber is missing amongst other items. I paid $316.00 and if they can’t get it right that my front light doesn’t work and windshield wiper blade is missing rubber, I have no confidence that a diagnosis of ny car is indeed accurate. The final estimate of repairs came out to be around $13,000. The transmission slipping due to low gear case fluid and still sent home without being replaced. They stated that they did not have the fluid or filter. $316 for a diagnosis that is incorrect is not right. More
