"Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Repairs"

My 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited was slightly out of the 3 yr/36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty in December 2015 (by just a couple of months, only had 32k miles on it) when the heater quit working (a known issue with these Jeeps). At the time the dealership who was previously here told me I'd need to call Jeep to see if they'd help me out on it. After going round and round with them I got nowhere and nothing got fixed. The previous dealership told me that without Jeep agreeing to help there was nothing that they could do and never went back. Fast forward to October 2017, (again, the same Jeep) was just barely out of the 5 year/100,000 miles powertrain warranty by just a couple of months (only 52k miles on it) when a check engine light came on. I did some research and found that it was a common problem with the left side cylinder head. I took it in to Allen Samuels who had purchased the dealership from the previous ownership group. I spoke to both Carol, the service writer, who was able to get it taken care of 199% by Jeep where it was indeed a known problem even though it was out of warranty at no cost to me. While it was in the shop, I also asked if they could try and follow up on my previous heater claim (figuring that it was a long shot at best). Reba, the Service Department Manager, said that where it was such an old claim that she couldn't guarantee anything but that she'd contact her rep with Jeep to see what could be done. Reba got back with me to say that while they wouldn't cover the heater 100%, they agreed to cover the vast majority of the repairs which ended up being a full heater core replacement, coolant flush and fill, and AC system recharge. The heater now works better than ever and I'll be a loyal customer for service on the Jeep for as long as I own it! Everyone was polite, the communication was great, and they were very accommodating by getting me a loaner vehicle to use while both of these warranty repairs were being made. I would definitely recommend their services again, especially where it's a whole new ownership group who seem to truly care about the customer being satisfied and doing business the right way!

"Horrible"

Purchasing my jeep here was great. Chris Morgan was so knowledgable and friendly. However, I would Never bring my car here for any type of service. After making an 8:15 appointment over the phone I was told the service would take 3 hours. No problem, done before noon. When I arrive for my appointment they tell me they are working on another car and it would be after noon before it was finished. Irritating considering I had an appointment but okay.. So after walking around and sitting in the lobby for 6 hours I asked when the car would be done. Their response was that they hadn't even started it and it might be done by the end of the day. I understand the company is busy but after having an 8:15 appointment and it being 6 hours later I was frustrated. The least I could expect was a call to ask if I would like to reschedule or to let me know it was going to be at least 6 PM before it MIGHT be ready. Very inconsiderate! Definitely will never be back to Laid Noller for any type of service. When asking about my jeep, no one was understanding except for 1 mechanic, and I wish I could remember his name. He was the only one who said sorry for this happening. Beyond disappointed with the service at Laird Noller.

"Broke down no help"

I was working in the hutchinson area an my truck broke down. Took it to Laird Noller truck sat there three days then they called me an told me they couldn't work on it in their shop they had to take it outside and even better it had to be at least sixty degrees outside. Keep in mind it's my work truck and I'm six hours from home an the tech won't work on it till it's warm outside. It's November guess Im supposed to be stuck here till march. Needless to say went an got the truck they still charged me a $100. Then I found the guys at diesel control technicians great guys fixin truck now. My experience there was so redickulous that you can't help but laugh about it even though it's not funny at all. Basically boils down to the tech was to lazy an fragile to go outside and work on my truck

"service ripoff"

Took car in for diagnosis of a problem. I had told them in was in the left front. Basically I just wanted a quote on what it would cost to repair. They found a brake caliper sticking. Did not check as to why it was sticking, but charged me over 100 dollars for the diagnostic on issue. Quoted a repair of 450 dollars, and suggested turning the two front brake rotors to take the repair cost up to over 555 dollars (two new brake rotors cost less than 100 dollars). That repair would include one brake caliper, a brake hose and two turned rotors. I took vehicle to another shop, where the brake caliper just needed cleaned and lubricated. Hose was okay. Brake rotors looked like new. While it was there did replace brake pads, so repair was only 150 dollars which included repair of stuck caliper and new brake pads. This will be the last time I take my car to this dealership unless it is for a simple oil change. ( only because I have already prepaid for the next three oil changes ) The other issue I has was my vehicle had just been involved in an accident the day before and the the trunk lid did not seal to keep out moisture and dirt. Because of this, my wife had specifically asked if the vehicle could be kept inside over night during the diagnosis. They told that it would be kept inside. It was not. When I contacted them and told them I would not be getting it repaired there and that I only wanted to pay them what I owed them and get my car back, it seemed all the friendliness disappeared and was replaced with "I will get to it in a minute." Even though I had called before I arrived to pick up the vehicle I had to wait over 40 minutes to pay my bill and get my vehicle back. They had not even started the paperwork on it.

Greeted me upon arrival assisting me with where to park. Took care of everything independently with professional and upbeat service attitude. Only complaint was clear oil where someone leaned on interior console and exterior of door as well as on steering wheel. Other than that I felt almost at home. Wonderful service improvement from past occasions there, so difficult to find. Thx so much Stephanie, you're awesome!

We have had to deal with this service department on two occasions now. I just have to say what a GREAT group of people they are to work with. The person assigned as our "Service Manager" is Stephanie Winkler. Stephanie's willingness to help and have all services completed to our satisfaction is a wonderful change from other dealerships!!
