I have been looking for a new car since the lease on my BMW is up soon and Ivan, along with the rest of the sales team, were extremely helpful! I was very interested in looking at a Nissan Murano because my aunt has one and she loves it. I received a lot of valuable information and I plan on going back in the future to get a Murano! I would absolutely recommend this dealership if you're in the New York/New Jersey area! Very helpful, friendly people!

I purchased a pre-owned 2003 Nissan Frontier and from the moment I walked into the showroom it was a bad experience. I have purchased 4 Nissan's from a local Nissan dealership. I have purchased from Dodge dealers, Toyota dealers, Lexus dealers, VW dealers, Honda dealers, Sterling dealer, Ford dealers, Case dealers, New Holland dealers and I have never been treated so poorly than with East Coast Nissan. I would NEVER purchase new or used from them. I have reported them to the NJ Dept of Consumer Affairs and to the Nissan Consumer Affairs. I also reported them to the BBB.

Eastcoastautomall.com the only reason im putting the name of the website is for when people do a search online they will see all these bad reviews.They tried to charge me $100 to change a light bulb that costs $15 I said that was crazy. I bought the bulb myself which cost me $15 at the dealer. After I bought the bulb I told the bald white guy its crazy to charge someone that much, the mechanic walks in and he starts telling the mechanic that I want the repair for free. All I said was $100 to change a bulb was to much. I replaced the bulb at the dealer myself I went back in to throw the bulb away I then told them you are nuts to charge that much the guy from vw parts came outside and got all in my face like he wanted to fight me.I pushed him away and he said "if I wasn't at work" He then said to come at 2:00 when he gets off of work hahahaha. Let me remind you the guy is 4 feet tall and weighs 100 pounds soaking wet. These people also ruined one of my customers cars as well. These people cannot be trusted anyone with half a brain would not even walk in front of this dealer. This is not a fictional story...?

I went yesterday to purchase a new 2010 Nissan Murano. Upon walking in I just didn’t feel comfortable. I was greeted by Luis who seemed friendly and helpful. We discussed exactly what I was looking for as I had already done my research. Unfortunately, they did not have the vehicle I wanted on the sales floor. They had what I wanted but in white not the graphite I was looking for. I explained I was very particular in what I wanted but they tried to strike up a deal anyway. Again, I had done my homework fro the model with the options I was looking for so I knew how much I should pay. Their first offer- on the car I had no interest in was $900 more than what Truecar describes as a good deal so I pulled out the paper and told him he was way off- especially for a car I didn’t even want! He shuffled me into the sales managers office where I was told my vehicle that I wanted would be located. I immediately explained I only wanted to make a deal for a vehicle that was on the lot- that I could see and touch for myself. I was told by the sales manager that he does swaps all the time with other dealers and this is the best- he has never heard of anyone making such a request- that the vehicle must be on the premises. Give me a break! I told him since he didn’t have the vehicle I would have to go elsewhere. He said to me what can I do to get your business at the price I was looking to pay and I explained since he didn’t have the vehicle I wanted that this was not possible. I started to walk out and he says- well I do have the car you want in the color you want its just on hold for another dealer for a swap but I can cancel the swap and get you the car. So sleazy! Clearly another dealer needs this vehicle for a customer on their end and this manager is trying to sell me the car! NO WAY! I wasnt going to take someone’s car and why did he wait until I was ready to leave to tell me that indeed he did have the vehicle I wanted??? When I told him why did you not offer me this car sooner- he said Luis didn’t tell him precisely what I was looking for. I don’t believe it! He was trying to pull a fast one and I wasnt going to stand for it so I told him I was leaving. I left and I would recommend that anyone else who visits East Coast do the same- do not stand it! I could only imagine what it would be like trying to work a deal with this pushy sales manager. Take your business elsewhere!

I can understand the other reviews for this dealer. The sales manager will give you a high price, pretend that he is giving you a great deal, and pressure you to make a decision on the spot. This is exactly the experience one would hope to avoid when buying a car.

Their Nissan service department is so unprofessional. Initially went there to fix the engine light problem. They could not pin point the problem and fixing wrong parts. Spend almost 2k and they still wented me to spend another 1k. I walked away. I initially bought the car from here and will not consider going their again. Will not recommend this place to my friends.

I was attacked and berated for an offer on a car.This man Omar the head sales manager chose to berate me in front of the entire showroom instead of talking to me like a person.My offer was not low or insulting as he screamed at me.He slammed the offer sheet down in front of me and startled me.I had 2 payments left on a lease and recieved an offer for early lease return program.I had never tried this before but thought let`s give it a try.He went on and on about eating my final 2 payments.Which their dealership sent on a offer card to me.All that was needed was we can`t absorb these payments at this time.We`d love to have you back when your lease is up.I have had now 3 leases w/Nissan and even purchased a Toyota pick up for $19,000.00 with this dealerships other company East Coast Toyota.I`ll never understand why I wasn`t afforded respect and decency of an average person and consumer.I believe he wanted to close for the night and show off to his salesman.I recieved a call back a month later to my astonishment.I explained my experience and doubt anything came of it.They probably saw my opening offer sheet and thought why did this guy leave.Well now they and you know.Good luck to anyone out there with this dealership.Watch your back and get ready for a loud show.
