At first it smelled lik BEWARE- Certified Pre-Owned Cigarette Smell Car - Bought a 2018 Certified Pre-Owned Lincoln at Beach Ford in late April 2021. At first it smelled like perfume and we didn’t think much of it. But, after a few days the cigarette smoke smell appeared — Strong! The smell gets really bad in the heat of the day. Talked to them and they didn’t offer to take it back. They offered and did a chlorine treatment that only made the smells worse. The sales manager told me to place charcoal briquettes in car (sic). They offered an ozone treatment but we’re not happy. Getting rid of the car, mitigating our losses and looking into all our options. Beach should not have sold a Certified Pre-Owned car that was smoked in. Not when the Certified check-list #92 says “Interior Odor-Free”. Not Cool, at All! ### BUYER BEWARE ### More

We had a problem with dead battery and noticed back ceiling lights not going off in our Lincoln. They installed new battery, but also kept car for days, giving loaner to determine light issue so we wo ceiling lights not going off in our Lincoln. They installed new battery, but also kept car for days, giving loaner to determine light issue so we wouldn’t have dead battery issue again. Charity Murphy was great, even followed up with call days after picked car up and didn’t overcharge us. Charity has restored our trust in using dealership repairs. We are confident in Beach Automotive’a integrity to only making necessary repairs and not overcharging. More
Excellent salesman; was sold a used vehicle and learned a week later that the vehicle was eaten up with rust so traded it in two weeks later for a new Ford Ranger loosing about $3,000 on the used vehicle wit week later that the vehicle was eaten up with rust so traded it in two weeks later for a new Ford Ranger loosing about $3,000 on the used vehicle within a two week span. Used the windshield washer on new Ford Ranger one time and had the low fluid light to come on so had to fill up tank myself. Tires on new Ford Ranger were not properly inflated so had to fix that myself. Had only 700 miles on new Ford Ranger and someone from Beach Ford called to schedule an oil change!!! Voiced concern to General Manager about used vehicle but he never made the effort to speak to me in person when I traded the used vehicle in for a new Ford Ranger. Wrote owner of Beach Ford to voice concern about used vehicle but never received a response. More

Worst of the worst in Myrtle Beach Avoid this place at all costs, they sold a vehicle with KNOWN clutch issue that was present at test drive, later verified by on of their own mechanics Avoid this place at all costs, they sold a vehicle with KNOWN clutch issue that was present at test drive, later verified by on of their own mechanics. When attempted to have repaired Kent Jenkins (used car salesman) attempted to explain we discussed purchase of "extended car warranty" not a clutch issue that has affected hundreds of thousands of Ford Vehicles. Apparently everyone in Automotive business knows of the issue except salesman at Beach Ford. Simple Google search "Ford Focus clutch issue" returns pages of lawsuits and articles as it pertains to this issue. More
