Eric Mendoza was pleasant. He listened to what I was looking for. At first, I entertained purchasing a 4-Runner. I even thought about purchasing a used 4-Runner, with a new, 2011 Highlander as my back looking for. At first, I entertained purchasing a 4-Runner. I even thought about purchasing a used 4-Runner, with a new, 2011 Highlander as my backup plan. Eric showed me a 4-Runner, used. I decided, due to price and gas, to go with the 2011 Highlander with the tech package. Eric was thorough in all that he did. He described the different Highlanders that I could choose from, the different pricing and packages that accompanied the vehicles. The credit union that I went through to obtain my loan commented to me that both the dealership, and Eric Mendoza, were the nicest people she had ever dealt with regarding an auto loan. She said that the transaction was smooth, and that she usually deals with somewhat "shady" employees at dealerships, but that Eric Mendoza was up front and honest, a real breath of fresh air to her (and to me). I purchased my vehicle on Saturday morning. By Monday, exactly at noontime, I went and picked up my vehicle. It was spotless and ready to take home. All-in-all, the fast, efficient relationship between me and Berlin City was smooth. Eric Mendoza is an excellent salesman, and he is, and will be, a wonderful asset to the personnel at Berlin City. They had a vehicle on their lot which met my requirements. He sent me a copy of the "widow sticker" with vehicle description, package requested with the agreed price and appropriate tax figures. My wife and I took a bus into Portland and were graciously met at the terminal by Eric. All the paperwork at the dealership was as stated. It was completed with no pressure or hassles. Very shortly thereafter, we were on the road back home with a new RAV4. It was the easiest, and thus, the most pleasant car buying experience I've had. As a side note, my wife and I were impressed with Eric's attention to detail. When initially looking at the vehicle, we casually mentioned that the dealership decal seemed a bit askew. When we went out to pick up the vehicle, it not only had been washed, interior dusted, and tank filled, but also the decal had been straightened. So often, it can be the attention to the little things that will elevate a good sales rep to a great sales rep. More

My wife had just lost her mother and I wanted to get her a new car to lift her spirits some. He knew the car inside and out. Because he was taking care of an ailing parent just as my wife did, I felt he wanted to genuinely help me.I can spot a phony a mile away.The only problem I had was with getting the price that was advertised. I know this wasn't George"s fault but going back to my house to get the ad was a bit surreal ...a deal breaker. I ended up spending more than I planned, but am very happy with the car, the sales experience and the service.
