Feel so wronged and hussled for over almost $1,000. Took our vehicle in for a broken A/C. They advised that a condenser was punctured and needed replacement and that should fix the issue. We picked the vehicle up and the lady said it's all fixed but the A/C should take a minute to kick in but it's working. Had a quick drive and it never blew cold but it was also towards end of Friday business so just drove home. Monday brought the vehicle back as it was definitely still blowing hot air. They advised they'll check it out again. A week later, get a call that they further more thoroughly diagnosed there is a punctured hose that is leaking air so that is why the A/C is not fixed however this is common in old cars but now an ADDITIONAL $2,200 repair. So, if this is common, why was this not assessed in the initial diagnostic when we came to a Jeep EXPERT to tell us what needed to be repaired to fix the A/C? Why would you not double check all related potential issues and talk a customer into a repair that wasn't going to fix the issue they came to you with. Now, out $900 for an unnecessary repair. Of course we would have never repaired it if the dialogue was we think this is the issue but of course we didn't FULLY DIAGNOSE THE ISSUE FROM THE START there could be something else. We would have to have just not repaired it, saved ourselves over $900 and the of course their words "understaffed staff's" time in fixing our vehicle. Feel beyond ripped off and sick about this waste of time, money, and level of service. My family members and I have been loyal Berthod customers for decades. Not only purchased so many vehicles as well as been loyal in many big service jobs. SO disheartening to have this outcome from a dealership we've trusted and been such good customers. Beyond disappointed this was our situation with no apologies or customer service in attempting to rectify this situation. More
We were headed to Denver for an important event...birthday party for our granddaughter and had a problem just past Glenwood Springs so we turned around and headed back to Berthod Motors. A Thursday afternoon with every light on the dashboard lit, 4 wheel drive, ABS everything flashing. Jason was so helpful for us. This is a busy shop and they got the Jeep in and diagnosed and parts ordered. They took us to a hotel and also did a drive through for food. Friday morning, parts arrived, Jeep repaired and we were on our way before noon. We have had our Jeep serviced there for years and it has always been a pleasure working with them. Also a shout out to Steve Kyle who talked to us about a different truck....just really quality people. Thanks so much. More
After being stuck for 11 weeks in city without jeep. They went above and beyond to get part here. I would love to thank them for that. Now I final drive home safely. Drove an hour to o for a doctors appointment and my car started to make a really awful sound. Drove to the dealership to make an appointment and I met the sweetest service consultant! She went out of her way to make sure my 4 month old son and I got home safely! I will never go anywhere but here to get my car worked on just because of how amazing she was! Took my Yukon in for service and was told I need a new engine! When I asked what my options were I was told a new engine was $7000. + or they could dig in and see what was wrong and possibly fix it. A few days later I was told they were able to fix problems and bill was over $4,000! I drove it less then a day and same issues were happening. Took it back in and they said again that I needed a new engine!! I’m a single women and I think I am being taken advantage of!! Women beware!!! More
This was the WORST car service experience I've had in my 50+ years driving on this planet. Terrible customer service, complains constantly about not having enough staff. Last time I was there, they priced out my issues $800 more than the mechanic I ended up going to. Clearly, they hate women. You have a lot of places you can go, don't go here. Getting ripped off as a woman sure sucks, but these guys have made an artful expert trade of it. Never again. More

I’ve gone to this dealership four times, and all four have been a BUST. Originally I was going to buy my van from them, but the quote was $15k above the price I got for the same van with more features from Colorado Springs! Big ups to Scott Cain and Bill Wheeler at Colorado Springs Dodge! I purchased an upgraded 100,000 mile warranty, which covers me. You would think. Berthod refuses to honor my warranty and tried to hand me a $900 bill!!! Worse yet, there xxxxxxx mechanic who started arguing with me INTENTIONALLY BROKE a second sensor and took the parts to spite me. Claims they “just fell out.” The mechanics broke stuff on purpose and took the parts. Yup! When I tried to talk to the manager Jason Pidcock, he got to mansplaining and spewing that ignorant misogynistic xx like I don’t know what my warranty does or how many functioning sensors I had to begin with? It would not surprise me if this unscrupulous dealership was trying to double dip, charge me for repairs and get their money for the warranty covered repairs from Dodge. They should be audited! The mechanics intentionally broke my back up sensors and took the parts because I stood up for myself. Another dealership in Fort Collins will he taking care of me!! Worth driving three hours to avoid going back to Berthod of Glenwood Springs ever agin. They suck, and I’m with every other bad review on here. The worst!! More
