I purchased a Chevy Equinox from this dealership in 2015 and had a great experience. I recently started to have problems in December 2017 when a part that controlled the oil getting to the engine wasn't working causing my car to stall. The service department fixed the issue which apparently was covered under a recall, so I didn't have to pay anything. They did a terrible job explaining the problem and what was actually fixed. I didn't look into it too much because I trusted them. Then 7 months later my car started doing the same thing again, so I brought it back and explained I thought it was the same problem that was fixed in December. The customer service rep said it was a different problem and it wasn't covered under the recall. I paid $400 to get it fixed. When I got it home, I compared the paperwork from the fix in Dec to the latest fix and low and behold it was the same problem! This time it was a part controlling the oil going out instead of coming in, but should still have been covered under the recall. I called the manager and they agreed it should have been covered and they would reimburse me as well as give us a car detail for the inconvenience...this is when the customer service went completely downhill. A week went by and never got the credit, so called back and left messages and no one called back. I called the service director and left a message and it was a struggle to get him on the phone. I just wanted our credit back. I finally talked to Brian, the service director, and he was completely rude and couldn't get me off the phone fast enough. He promised the credit would be processed that day, but of course it wasn't. Another week goes by, so I call back and leave messages and finally call the GM and leave a message. It's been 3 weeks now and no credit! I finally get a call back, not from Brian the service director but from the service manager who is new and took care of the credit over the phone. I never got that car detail I was promised though. Worst customer service I've ever experienced, it's sad I had to fight to get our credit when I should have never been charged in the first place. I'll never bring my car back to get serviced here ever again and I warn anyone else who does to please look at your paperwork carefully!
