I have a 2015 Toyota Rav4 which I am currently leasing. Lease is up in December. Since the beginning of the lease I have had nothing but problems with the car. Had to get a new head gasket, my AC wasn't working, it was just horrible. Took them over a week to finally figure out what was wrong with the car. Its a 2015, it shouldn't be having an issue like this. Now I was in a car accident, they wouldn't help me with a rental.. Not willing to cover it even with my rental insurance. Told them I was going to take it somewhere else and they still did not try to accommodate me with a rental car. Talked to a sales rep last night to not have ANYONE touch my car. They stated they would leave a note in the car and not have anyone touch it. I also contacted the collision center as well. This morning an auto repair shop that was WILLING to accommodate me with a rental car with no money out of pocket went to pick up the car this morning and it wasn't there. I called Toyota, they couldn't find the keys or had no idea where the car was.. Got a call from the manager stating that the collision center came to pick it up and that I did not call them to cancel the tow. They DO NOT clearly know what they are doing at Toyota. They were not helpful, they are quick to point fingers at the customer for their own mistake, and they are not willing to accommodate for their customers leasing THEIR cars. I will never get another lease here. Once my lease is up I am going else where. If you want people to stay with Toyota, maybe changing your leasing terms and doing your job will help because you will lose good customers like this.
