Taking a vehicle in for service is not high on most people's list of things they want to do, however, when you do, I HIGHLY recommend Boyd Chevrolet Cadillac Buick service dept! Dishonest Service department. Poor Communication. Poor work performed. One of the worst experiences in quite sometime. Joey intentionally mis-led about services rendered, failed to solve minimal challenges, creating a much larger problem. I cant speak for the entire team however, I would hope the owner is aware of the name being tarnished and the false representation.

Instead, at your request, we installed the harmonic balancer you supplied us with and that was the extent of our repairs. We understand you have had additional work done elsewhere since your last visit with us. "Great place - even under pressure of needing a different car"

Came to Boyd to look at an issue my CTS V developed while vacationing in the NC Mountains. Service was very good and professional - however my 8 year old car needed more work than what I wanted to put into it - Ed Murdock is sales showed us a Cadillac Certified CT6 that really hooked us - a couple hours later we drove back to the mountains in a wonderful 'new' car! The staff was proficient, friendly, and showed great interest in helping us. And we got a car we love.

"Ripped Off"

If you want to pay too much for shoddy service work, by all means, this is the place to go. My '08' Pontiac Vibe had a recall on its' airbags. Boyd was the closest dealership listed to do the work, so I took it there. Two weeks after Boyd replaced the airbag, the airbag warning light came on. Thinking the light was probably a false warning, I drove the car that way for a few months. My regular mechanic, whom I trust, informed me that if I had a warning light I probably had a problem. So I took the car back to Boyd. They said if the light was their fault, they would do the repair for free. They were as good as their word; they had botched the initial repair and fixed the airbag. Fast forward eight or nine months later and the airbag light comes on again. Once again I take the car to Boyd and they say the same thing; if the fault is theirs they will fix it for free. An hour later I'm paying a $100.00 diagnostic fee and being told I have a defective airbag, which has a price tag of $750.00. You can rest assured Boyd won't be doing that repair.

Mr. Henry, We regret if you feel you have not received the service you expected. We take great pride in our work and our customers. We repaired the passenger side airbag for your free of cost as it was a GM recall. The driver side airbag was not a recall item and it was not covered as the vehicle's warranty has already expired. We apologize if there was any misunderstanding and we invite you to come back to our Service Department for any of your service needs.

As I pulled in to get my truck serviced, Oscar met me at the door with a smile as usual. Ed saw me and asked how my wife was liking her new Camaro. Then I spotted the new Trail Boss strategically parked, according to the wife, right in front of the show room and Ed and I started talking. Needless to say, I once again came in for a service and left with a new vehicle.
