Plus they give you updates as to where they are on your vehicle's progress. More

Wonderful Experience As always, another wonderful stress free experience at Brown's in Elkader. The salesman/staff were very accommodating. The vehicle I was interested in was at another dealership so they had it driven almost 2 hours to the Elkader location just so I could test drive it, that same day. The salesman was very knowledgeable of the vehicles history and specs, even though they had just received it and they stayed an hour past closing time to close the deal and send me home in my new Truck. Got the vehicle I wanted, at the price I wanted with friendly service and a free tank of gas to boot. More

Brown' Sales and Leasing, Elkader Had been looking for a vehicle for quite some time, i got involved with another dealer who I had told I had the check for a vehicle and made an appoin Had been looking for a vehicle for quite some time, i got involved with another dealer who I had told I had the check for a vehicle and made an appointment to meet the sales rep and the day I was headed out the door, I got a simple e-mail from the General Manager that the car was sold overnight! Really, overnight. Thats when my wife and i took a few minutes to rethink a new plan on what to do. We chose Browns's in Elkader because after many trips through their display of cars over the years, we knew they had high quality used vehicles! I then looked up vehicles that met our needs and called Lori, who helped us connect with Wes our salesperson, sat with Wes and went through our story and he was more than willing to get us in a good car. The whole process with Lori, Wes and Kelsey was a treat after what we had gone through. Our feeling that dealing with local small town dealership with friendly customer oriented people sure makes life more enjoyable. Hats off to Browns's and their super staff. Would recommend them anybody! More

Bad experience When we picked up the pickup it was loud in the cab. We returned the pickup to the dealer and the brakes were smoking and oil was running out of it. My 1998 Honda CRV was well-maintained and had low mileage, but with a recent move to Elkader and frequent dives to and from the Twin Cities, I decided it was time to upgrade a little! I was connected with Ben Hepke at Brown's, and he immediately made me feel at ease with the process. Very laid back and no pressure, with a good sense of humor. We discussed my options and what I was looking for specifically, and he said he'd get back to me in a few days. True to his word, Ben called later in the week to tell me that they'd located a 2016 Jeep Patriot for me to have a look at. It was just what I wanted, and Ben made the whole transaction so painless and fast. I met a couple of the other staff at Brown's and was likewise impressed with their friendliness and professionalism. While I haven't had any follow-up service yet since the purchase, I'm confident that it will be a positive experience. Based on what I've seen so far I'd highly recommend Brown's -- and Ben Hepke -- to anyone in the Elkader area who's in the market for a new or used vehicle. More
