Worst dealer ever I took my 2008 Mazda 6 to this dealer ship fully loaded with 66000 miles on the car they only offered me 6000 for the car really 6000 and they also sa I took my 2008 Mazda 6 to this dealer ship fully loaded with 66000 miles on the car they only offered me 6000 for the car really 6000 and they also said that the best they could do. Then I went home put in the same info they showed us for a trade offer and the website said dont take less then 8500. The worst part of the whole thing was I was not just looking for one car i was looking for two and both my parents were looking at 2 cars as well. So i went to a different dealer that was willing to work with me offer me 9000 for my car and got me to the payment I wanted to be at on my new car so we bought my wife a car as well and now my parents are looking for there cars too. The dealer that went above and beyond was Ricart mazda off South hamilton rd. I am also a employee of one of there partners so needless to say i will advise everyone to stay away from this dealer. As with another reviewer of the dealership, I took my Mazda6 SW to Byers for a routine recall on a fan controller module. Service went well, took about an hour. Waiting room was well equipped and clean. Mazda6 SW to Byers for a routine recall on a fan controller module. Service went well, took about an hour. Waiting room was well equipped and clean. Got the keys to my car, no charge (obviously) and received a copy of their inspection report... You know, tires, brakes, battery etc. Drove the car away and was happy. Several hours later, the car would not start. Dead battery.... But hold on... Wasn't it checked just four hours previous by the Mazda dealer who said it was at 90%+? Had the car inspected before it went back on a tow truck and the guy said it looked like the alternator had not been connected.... (Perhaps because they disconnected it to do the recall?) Anyway, towed it back to dealership and left it there (Was Saturday afternoon) so I had to wait until Monday. Called them up and they said it was a dead battery.... DUH!!!! Well, they replaced the battery AT MY COST and took three days to do it... Subsequent trip for same car (Forced to, had a misfire) showed them diagnose the misfire as "Bad Gas"... Same problem two weeks later after I had changed my gas supply to their recommended brand. Took car back to them for a booked appointment on Monday... On Tuesday was informed problem was spark plugs... Okay, car had 75,000 miles on it, was probably due... Quoted $200.... FOR PARTS!!!! Said OK, they can have the car until Friday as they wanted to do further testing on it... They said OK... So when I go on Friday evening to pick car up, as I needed it for the weekend... Was told: "You are a priority for Monday morning" Priority for Monday morning??? Wasn't I a priority when I made an appointment on the Monday previous? Got my car back the Tuesday following, after the had finally diagnosed the problem successfully as an ignition coil.... How can a certified Mazda service center incorrectly diagnose a problem twice.... Even though I now live just four miles from Byers Mazda, I will NEVER take my car there, not even for an oil change. And if you do go there, check the pricing for service elsewhere... Quoted $450 + tax for a wheelbearing on a Mazda6 SW... Got the car serviced at another Mazda dealer (Park Mazda Wooster) for less than $200.... Tax included.... More
My credit score was pulled for financing options, and they falsified my score so I didn't qualify for a better rate. I immediately pulled my score and report from all three reporting agencies. The lowest they falsified my score so I didn't qualify for a better rate. I immediately pulled my score and report from all three reporting agencies. The lowest score reported was 44 points above what I was told. I applied to one of the banks they sent an inquiry to and was instantly approved with a lower rate. Shady dealings here. More
Atef was flat out best salesman i've ever worked with. He was the most polite and courteous person. He was very informative on all makes and models. When we decided we were going to make a purchase, he even gave us a few snacks to hold us over because it was well past closing. He answered every question we had, explained every detail about the vehicle, and also went through the whole manual to make sure we understood everything about the Mazda CX-5. Not to mention, prior to coming to the USA, he was an OBGYN in Egypt. If I ever want to purchase a vehicle again, I hope Atef is still at Byers Mazda....although he's testing to get back into the medical field! More
We purchased a new Mazda CX5 at Byers Mazda recently and had a great experience. Elizabeth was very professional, cordial, efficient and knowledgeable. She had answers for all of our questions and never p had a great experience. Elizabeth was very professional, cordial, efficient and knowledgeable. She had answers for all of our questions and never pressured us. The purchase procedure was quite smooth and efficient as well. We were running late on two separate trips to the dealership to look at vehicles and on both occasions Elizabeth offered to stay past closing to assist us. This car buying experience ranks at the top for us! We won't hesitate to recommend Byers Mazda to family and friends! Thank so much for a job well done! More
Our dealings with Chris were easy, friendly, informative and helpful. He is not a high pressure salesman which immediately drives us out the door.My husband wanted to test drive an automatic Mazda Miata rag and helpful. He is not a high pressure salesman which immediately drives us out the door.My husband wanted to test drive an automatic Mazda Miata ragtop, and he had one available. He loved it but wanted a different color. Chris found one and had it brought in from Indiana. We knew that before we left.Financing was also secured while we were there, so we knew no problems would occur when we returned for the car.The horror stories on CNN about dealerships that OK financing then renege when you get your car were non- exsistent with Chris. The car arrived exactly as promised, and he explained everything perfectly, then made sure my husband understood how to operate the convertible top.If you like a highly professional, friendly, helpful sales person there are none better than Chris. We will definitely recommend him to our friends, some who have already expressed interest in his car. It's a beauty! Everyone at the dealership was very helpful. I am quite pleased with the Mazda 3 I bought from Chris Canny. It seemed as though Chris was honest with me and I never felt any pressure to buy. We were originally going to go out of state to get a Mazda CX5 because we wanted a good price and no one had the exact car we wanted in stock. But we talked to Keith at Byers and he was willing to come Mazda CX5 because we wanted a good price and no one had the exact car we wanted in stock. But we talked to Keith at Byers and he was willing to come down on the price. When we got there to pick up the car it was 15 minutes before they closed. Keith stayed with us and answered all our questions, took care of our trade in, and worked with us on financing. We were probably there until 9:30 pm but the whole process was a breeze compared to our last car buying experience. Not only that, but the CX5 has more than exceeded our expectations. We would definitely recommend Byers. More

If I could give this service department a negative -10, I would. Worst, worst service ever. I took in my 2003 Mazda protege knowing already beforehand what was wrong with it, this car had been recalled for t would. Worst, worst service ever. I took in my 2003 Mazda protege knowing already beforehand what was wrong with it, this car had been recalled for the same exact problem, but mine VIN number wan't one of them. So I drop it off at 8am and then finally it is done by 6pm, now I am billed $500, with half of it from labor costs. Before I paid them, I double checked with the service rep, to make sure my problem was fixed and that they had checked my car overall for any other problems. Well, good thing I took the side roads home, because the next day as I pulled out of my carport, I hear a big bang noise. I get out and find a piece of metal/screw thing that fell from the bottom of my car!!!! Really??? Of course, when I took it back in, their explanation was that it was an honest mistake, that the technician was checking something and had left it in and that of course they couldn't refund any of the labor cost they had charged me. But they could offer me a 10% discount of up to $100 for any future services. Right, like I would come back. Not only were they careless, they also put my life and others in danger, what if I had been on the highway and it had fell out and struck another car. Just think it about it in another scenario, what if you had gone into surgery and the doctor left a operating tool in you, and then explained as a honest mistake and then offered a discount on any further surgeries. I am taking my compliant to Mazda USA, because this was ridiculous. I was charged 90 per hour for labor, and even though the car was there the whole day, it was obvious the job was rushed and sloppy.
