By far the worst experience I have ever had buying. Crooks, liars, and terrible customer service. Took my 23 year old son over the coals, had him sign papers saying he bought as is when the only reason he bought it there was to be protected from a dishonest transaction. Put him in a terrible finance, sold him a warranty that covers nothing. Sold him a camper with Mold, and a leaking roof. The tires exploded not 1/2 hour from dealership because they were dry rotted, and 1 year older than the camper. Some quality control! Put my sons life in danger changing tires, one after the other 15 mins apart. 2 tires exploded, with no way to move his camper, no way to disconnect the truck he was stranded on 95 9pm scared to sit in truck, scared to move it, scared if he moved it over another ft and he would flip the camper and his Ram 2500 long bed. My son has had possession of this camper for 2 weeks out of the 8 months since he bought it. More
We bought our camper back in 2020 late September. Camping World in Lakewood is extremely unorganized although the sale of our camper was great. When we went to go pick up our truck and camper sence we had a fifth wheel hitch installed they called my husband saying the parts did not come after we dropped the truck off and left, the. Got another phone call saying the truck was done and camper as well , we get there and they couldn’t find our truck like is magically disappeared 20 minutes go by they find the truck. That should have been the first sign not to go back there. We went on our first trip had an issue with the air conditioner called for 3 days left multiple voicemails and no one ever called back, it took me contacting the manufacturer of my camper for them to call me back. Went to Myrtle Beach for 2 weeks in September 2021 same issue the air was not working right kept freezing over despite having the fans on high like we were told from day one. Being 13 hours away I still tried calling same scenario left voicemails no call back. So I called the Camping World in Myrtle Beach and they answered right away and even sent out one of there mechanics to take a look and found the issue within 5 minutes and fixed it. Recently this year February 2022 we want to get the camper serviced and gone over and have a 2nd air conditioner installed I guess they don’t want business same thing call and call and left multiple voicemails no one calls back leading us to go to a different dealer to have the work done. I would NEVER recommend Camping World in Lakewood to anyone. More

Made an appt for later that day (saturday) and drove an hour. Ed was busy with another person but told us the rvs were open and told us to check them out. Rvs were not open. Waited while he walked out to open them and then left again. Told us to text him if any questions. One smelled like smoke so that was out, and the other had the steps up and couldn't get them out. I was able to jump in while my wife waited outside, but the slides were in so I couldn't move around and check it out. Texted Ed to see if he could open the slide. He texted he couldnt do that and it was open as much as they could do. REALLY guys? How many RVs do you sell without the customer experiencing the features? I came with checkbook in hand ready to deal. Was looking at used but could have been persuaded to go new. Point is, we weren't important enough to give time to so we can't possibly do business with you. More

Bob has always been available to me whenever I had an issue even when I was on vacation bob called me and helped me figure out what was wrong. Whenever I come in bob checks out the issue personnally. If the vehicle needs more time he would take the initiative to call, text,or email me till contact was made. There was a paint issue past the date of warranty and he stepped up along with service manager Stephanie to contact manufacturer and convinced them on my behalf that is was a manufacturer defect. Dealing with bob is like working with family he is professional and caring every time I go in. I would hire bob in a min if I had a customer care driven business. He is an asset to the campingworld family. More
Terrible experience Buying your rv from this dealership is a huge mistake. I purchased mine brand new from them 7 months ago. I did a walk through prior to purchase and m Buying your rv from this dealership is a huge mistake. I purchased mine brand new from them 7 months ago. I did a walk through prior to purchase and made note of multiple issues wrong with the rv. These issues were noted on a we owe and were all signed off by the guy who does the contracts. 7 months these issues still have not been fixed. For the first 2 months I was told they were super backed up but once the parts arrived we'd be able to move forward. Suddenly it turned out they hadn't ordered the parts and the employee who had signed the we owe technically "wasn't supposed to have signed off" without the head guy there. So a few months go by with no progress because they are "talking with corporate". Meanwhile I'm calling them at least once a week typically more frequently and my calls are never returned and answers are not forthcoming. The tv fell partially off the wall because it wasn't properly attached so I took it to them to reattach. They reattached it with the buttons inaccessible because they had the tv laying on the shelf. A drawer hadn't been fully attached in assembly and I had missed it during the initial walk through but found it a few days later. After much hemming and hawing I was able to get it taken care of but "the fix" involved screwing the drawer such that it didn't open. Additionally one of the initial issues was that the shade was broken in the back. The biggest window that allows you to see outside. They attempted to fix it and ripped it partially out of the wall during the fix and then tried to use the slide and broke the valance. I was then told my rv was ready for me and the slide was still out and saw what had happened but when I went to ask for some sort of fix was told all the techs had already gone home. I was left sitting in the parking lot with a slide that wouldn't close a broken valance and no way to talk to anyone from camping world about it so I ended up having to remove the thing myself. I have a good number of other issues on the rv that should be covered under warranty but I'm terrified to bring the rv back to camping world because of what they will break next. More
