A great place to buy a car Steve Sax is a great car salesman and a really nice guy. This is the second car i bought from carriage traders. The reason why i went back was because its the only dealership that I've shopped at where they don't play all the car buying games. i didn't have to spend hours there and they where very straight forward about price and financing. I've tried to buy cars at other dealers where they keep going back and forth with the manager and give ridiculous prices that aren't even close to what i wanted. i will buy another car there in the future. I bought a very over-priced vehicle and the fact is I could have bought it new for the price I paid, however I did not learn that right away. I was not desparate to buy this car and did NOT really want it. It was put through a bank at a very high rate of interest for far longer than I realized. I guess car dealers can manipulate to make any sale they want. I know its our fault for not asking more questions you can not really be victimized by a car dealer w/o your consent but where are these peoples consciences. I know they will have to answer to GOD one day. We went by their illustrious establishment again, and my husband decided we should express our feelings about the toyota we bought and they said they were sorry, and that we had not been victimized by them but by a group they had that came up from down south with a large inventory of cars and they also had a bad experience with these people so it wasn't their fault.....ummm yeah. I will shorten my story by saying we ended up with a crap old vehicle....60 payments with high interest and a rotten taste of rip-off pie in our mouths. I hope this is a warning, do your homework before you visit them and NEVER buy your first visit, research first check everything out. We have excellent credit and could have gotten a 400% better loan on our own elsewhere do not go if you are tired or have to go to work the same day you will be talked into something you will regret. More

It has not even been my second payment on the vehicle and I need around $1000.00 in exaust work. I have a transmission oil leak. Went first on a saturday to apply for loan got approved but only for one car?? Car was owned by older woman who was a non smoker. Looked at car in dim garage looked okay. Came back 2 days later to test drive in am opened door and smell knocked me off my feet. Carpets which were supposed to be gray were brown with filth(this was even after detailing) and all seats in car had big burn holes. Tires were close to bald and other misc. plastic was broke. Byrny told us on saturday interior was mint. Then after the smelliest test drive ever I told Byrny that the price for Kelly Blue Book was less than they were giving it to us for in excellent condition and this car was fair at best. He threw his hands up and said we were done. He didnt make the price the program that we were enrolling in set the price.(so the bank that doesn't own the car tells them the price they sell their cars for,BS)Con artist. Because we didnt have perfect credit we were supposed to pay more than the car was worth and we didnt get to choose a car because the bank picked that for us to. I may not have good credit but i'm not dumb the bank doesnt make money off the car they make money off the interest The dealer sets the price the bank then pays them up front. INSULTING GO THERE AND THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! More

Everything started out well at Carriage Traders. Our salesman, Kyle, was helpful and Chris the sales manager was great. However, the business manager was a jerk. He made us feel like we were a huge inconvenience on his day and would not look us in the eye when talking to us. Our deal did not end up going through because the business m...anager said there was absolutely no way we could get financed for the car with another car loan already established. We called Carriage Traders later to ask them if we came in with the cash for the car what the price would be. The price went up significantly and the salesman informed us that they "move on pretty quickly." I am glad we did not get financed because we went to Nemer Dodge the next day and had NO PROBLEM getting financed for a great car! Almost a week later, Carriage Traders called to ask how our experience was. When told the experience was horrible and we would never return, the caller asked why? Partway through the explanation of why it was horrible, he hung up. We are sorry we wasted FIVE HOURS at Carriage Traders when we should have just gone somewhere else to begin with! Word of advice--don't go to Carriage Traders!! More
